  5. Guys, i just went and read the full story.

The woman really tried for the guy o. She was his star witness and provided the only Alibi he had against more than 16 sexual crimes he was accused of, she was with him for more than 10 years while he was in jail. She visited him regularly and put money in his prison commissary account to help him with expenses while in Prison. After they divorced mutually in 1992 and he was exonerated 15 years later, the state compensated him. She then sued to get part of what she thought she was due as a spouse, while they were still together. The state agreed and awarded her over $114,000 compensation. But court of appeal said that for the time she was with him, the compensation act had not yet been enacted. For this cause, she was not entitled to any penny except child support [ They had a child, she was pregnant when he was arrested]. That's all. It was never about greed.

His lawyers were actually the greedy ones, because after the state compensated him, they then sued him for more than $1 million dollars, claiming that they had lobbied with state government to release him. This was a lie, because, he was actually never released. He came out of prison after spending 25 years out of a 30 years sentence on parole. A year after being released on parole for good behaviour, the DNA rule was enacted and he willingly submitted his DNA to be tested for his innocence under the Innocence Project. That was when it was discovered that he was never at any of the crime scene at any point. Hence, he was exonerated and compensated.

  6. He should give her something. She really tried. To do all that for Someone consistently for 10 years training their Child alone, giving him money while living with the stigma of sex offender Husband, was his alibi. She deserved a lot.
