INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD


 I have learnt a lot in the last few weeks of trying to get solution for my children’s dental issues.

The main cause of tooth decay in kids is not the amount of sugar in the diets, it’s in how often it is eaten and drank. The more often a child has sugar in food and drinks the higher the chances of having cavities.

Washing your children's teeth twice a day should not be optional. It helps get rid of bacteria and left over food particles that can damage the teeth. Also constant rinsing of the mouth with water is good for the teeth.

Flossing is very important, it’s important to teach your kids how to floss properly so they don’t hurt their gums.

Brushing a child’s teeth should be done so gently, brushing a child’s teeth too hard will only damage the teeth’s enamel and can hurt the gums leading to inflammation which is very uncomfortable for the child.

A child’s toothbrush should be soft also very small amount of toothpaste should be used for kids between one and six from a grain of rice size to pea sized to avoid fluorosis. 

Teaching the right brushing techniques to the little ones is great. I thought I had been brushing right for years but recently I learnt better. I have been brushing my teeth and tongue too hard which will only cause more damage.

Visiting a dentist regularly is good and high up on my list is giving the kids a good balanced diet, this would help children develop strong bones and teeth. Nuts, fruits and green leafy vegetables are rich in calcium. Supplements are also a welcome addition, deficiency of certain minerals such as vitamin D vitamin C and calcium can lead to complicated dental issues in kids.

Nice one!.... I hope those parents who do not remember that their kids have to brush their teeth will learn from this!

CORRECT ADVICE GIVEN ON CHRONICLE


Stella. I posted a comment last year and you used it as a chronicle. It's about how I posted a wise saying from SDK (a man that hangs around a beautiful woman without saying anything will fetch water at her wedding).

 Then this man posted something like (the man you don't appreciate is a king to another person). At the time, I felt he posted as an answer to the SDK stuff that I had posted. We were not in a relationship as he never asked me out but he was behaving like I should gey the idea and I liked things defined. 

I honestly thought he was just shy, this man would literally do everything for me if I let him but I don't. Many BVs bashed me that I was immature this and that. A comment struck me, I think the person said "she's behaving like she doesn't know he's married". I didn't think he was married and just assumed he was shy. I decided to go with BVs and cut all communication with this man.

 Fortunately, I travelled out for a couple of months so I made it easier. He called me first of January that if he has offended me in anyway, I should forgive him. Honestly he didn't offend me but I took BVs advice to free him. So I said he didn't. Update that just happened this morning, he came to my house to start telling me sob stories of how he's had his heart broken over and over again and he has told me this before. The breaking news is that, after someone broke his heart, he told his cousin to get him a girl and proposed to the girl under a week.

 Story cut short, he married the girl, they have a child. Life happened he separated from her the week before he met me that's why he's been reluctant to express his love and desire. Next thing I will hear, "but I'm ready now". Ready where? When the spirit of my dead mother is alive and well. 

Hmmmm, BVs I thank you o, some called me desperate and so and so but I thank God I'm not crying today. But the funny part was when he asked me to hug him when he was leaving, I was thinking are you mad or something? I never hug you when I thought you were single but indecisive na now when you don tell me everything I go hug you?





WOW so this is how you dodged a bullet.... I am so happy you got advice that worked out for you...

Infidelity and Anger

There is this popular man who stays very close to my area here.  


The man has a hotel but you will never see him there because he is a busy type. Its either he is in Lagos today or Abuja tomorrow. 

Two days ago, the wife did not know he would come home early because whenever he travels out of Ibadan, he spends like a week or more and must surely inform his Hotel Manager when coming back.


This week, he left for Abuja for a project but came back without notice. He got home and didn't see his wife, so he decided to chill out at a particular hotel  (name withheld) .

 Based on Info, he was at the hotel bar when he saw his wife coming outside from one of the rooms with his Hotel manager and he had to hide his face.(to me I think his travel was a planned one to get the wife)


When they both left, he followed them in order to trace them, he wasn't satisfied with all he saw then he went straight into the hotel to ask for the manager, the manager said things which he was not meant to say because he was given some cash.


All I noticed was, the man drove roughly into our area and I was asking some people why this man was driving that way and no one could answer. we never knew he went to pick his gun at home, went straight to his hotel to shoot the Manager leaving the wife at home without even saying anything to her. He got to his hotel from a right source, he was so angry and brought out his gun to pull the trigger but mistaken shot his ankle and he was rushed to the hospital. The manager has since absconded with no trace.


The man is presently in the hospital getting better but he gave instruction that, he doesn't want to see his wife once he gets home else, there will be a serious problem. As at the time I'm writing this, the woman has been sent packing.

WHAT!!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!!
