If you relate well with her then she wants you to look good next to her and not disgrace her lolll. it’s more for appearances anyway. If you don’t have a relationship with her then it’s somehow and It’s not really her business but still don’t take it personal. She wants everyone to look fly and dress to impress if it’s a family event. And question is, do you dress low? If you have money please upgrade your wardrobe and don’t dress shabbily. The way you present yourself to others and in how you dress says a lot and goes a long long way. It’ll also make you feel good about yourself(most important aspect actually). My dad told me this so upgrade please.

I remember those days as a university undergraduate.Anytime I'm coming back home for the weekend or holidays, While packing my things, I don dey plan on how I go take murder food as hunger don show person pepper. During the first few days at home, I was always on an eating spree. I could finish a plate full of rice and still felt hungry. Bread and tea na just appetizer. Kai! I was full time foodie. Then days later, I'll stop having appetite like before and would go back to my normal eating habit.
DeleteEveryday day is the same for me, business, home, then Church days. Days I don't have any biz I am indoors. No hangouts, sit outs or even movies. Netflix have kukuma spoilt everything. Tomorrow that I thought I would rest I just had a call this evening for oyingbo and balogun runs for someone abroad so it's another busy day for me This Sunday I have promised myself I am going to the beach and sink in my thoughts with nature, think about my life, have some drink and go home. Monday I stay indoors and Tuesday I go for my second jab of C19 vaccination.

DeleteI went to visit a cousin that came for her visa in my base today in one local hotel. Before l entered the hotel room l was asked to write my name at the reception which l did. As l was going out of the hotel the receptionist politely called me . Aunty please come. I went to her desk. She asked me to call the lady l went to see to ensure all is well with her. She said due to the killings in the country today. It's now a rule for visitors to call their guest at the reception before leaving. I was very impressed with this rule but why not use your intercom to call your guest as evil minds might call a wrong number claiming it is for the guest. She said there intercom spoilt. Nigeria my country. I called her and told her l was asked to confirm if she has disappeared and everyone at the reception laughed out loud.

DeleteI've been super busy throughout this week. My niece and nephews just came in. All 5 of them. God help me. I'm hoping no one gets hurt this weekend. I've got 2 of my nephews going back to Nigeria on Monday. They have been complaining since they came in. One said, 'Mommy is punishing us. She says she's going to beat the hell out of us in Nigeria'. I know my sister, God help them. I'm going to do all I can do to make sure nobody and I mean NOBODY gets hurt on my watch. The refrigerator is locked and child proof.. the rug is fair game..the TV can be on nickelodeon on weekend, I won't die. My phone is out of the question. They should play with their shoes or their toys.. I nor send. As long as no one gets hurts, I'm good. This weekend is for me and my sanity. I won't kill myself. I'm so happy too. God is great. I can't even complain. So many bad news in the media this week...
ReplyDeleteAnyway I realised recently that... God really has blessed me...Blessed me anyhow. I may not have kids of my own but I've got a good life. For some reason, my sisters would rather have their kids with me for the weekend and my mom and my dad make it a point of duty to always pray for me every week. What can I say, I too get many people wey dey beg God on my mata.. so all is well.. honestly, as long as these kids don't get hurt, I'm the happiest in the world. I've got sisters that won't stop praying me and showing me how much they love me. Always ready to advice me, scold me and help me...why they still sent their kids to me is still a shock but I can do it. Highest. I go cry and they'll come to my rescue.

I resumed sch runs,go to my weddings without bothering him and stuff. I noticed he started complaining that I don't stay one place,always driving about town.
I went to a wedding last yr,packed car in d parking lot.After party finished I walked to where I packed my car,my people car disappeared,my car was stolen.I cried like a baby that day. When I finally got homey hubby was consoling me.saying maybe God wants him to buy a bigger and better one for me.He begged me to stop crying.He started leaving his car gor me to do sch runs or attend my stuff.It just lasted for a month,oga changed,doesn't allow me near his keys.i maintain face my okada and keke.
