Viral Video Of NANS President Addressing Minister Of Education And How He Walked Out On Them..

Who has seen the viral video of National Association of Nigerian Students and the Minister of Education Adamu sitting in a room and what the NANS President said the shocking response the Minister gave?

NANs President said in the video....

''Honourable minister, we saw it on social media where you celebrated your son who graduated from a university outside the country, we appreciate that. Our parents don't have that money to send us outside the country but we are in this country, we should enjoy what we are paying for. We want an adequate funding of education in this country.

Honorable Minister our message is; we want to go back to class, we want our schools to be opened.

 if our schools are not opened we are saying it, it's not a threat when we said we are coming out , as I speak the Niger road is blocked, Benue, Adamawa roads are blocked, if care is not taken this will be worse than ENDSARS. Thank you and God bless you.

Minister of Education Adamu Adamu;

''So instead of coming here you would have addressed your lecturers there, perhaps, the only point you made was ASUU giving attention that students should be involved in this, i think it is probably a very good thing and it's the only thing I'm going to take out of what you have said here. Thank you''

The Minister then gets up and walks out on the shocked Students..... He is probably pissed that they mentioned that his son recently graduated in a University outside Nigeria!

  2. Sometimes if you need something, you need to approach things with utmost wisdom and use plenty sense. How can you bring up his son studying abroad and use that as a stepping stone in appealing to his better nature? How can you say you appreciate that he celebrated his son when truly, most parents don't have that money to send their kids to school outside the country. So what are you appreciating? When you're a mouthpiece for people in desperate need, you should speak without sentiments and detach your emotions. You spoke wrong and the dude reacted right.🤷🏼‍♀️

    1. I assume you are being sarcastic 'cause wtf is this? How can you say such such a thing? He is the Minister of Education yet all his children are abroad studying he knows this Educational system is faulty is not in his place to fix it? My goodness! so the parents that cannot send their kids overseas should watch them in a dilapidated state of I wish? If he cannot bear the truth that hurts he should fucking step down!!!! A NAN representative spitting the truth to his face is the boldness I applaud don't go there and start cutting corners it's because you people are used to being silenced that's why it's hard to find yourselves now. I applaud the NAN representative 'cause these Ministers have done their worst there's nothing left that would be new God forbid bad thing.

  4. None of those that were elected or appointed in the country has the interest of the country at heart. The so called minister was busted and could not give any defence which was shameless by the way and walking out was an escape for him. No wonder education sector suffers and they don't care.

  7. The system of education in Nigeria is in a serious mess. Days are gone when you will see graduates and see glory.Some of them graduate are no way better than those 'standard six'.ASUU is not helping the matter.
    Here I see those seeking for jobs,the best way for them to go about it is to come with violence. Some of them claim to be learned but don't even know the proper ways to apply for a job.,that you will wonder which school passed through them.
    ASUU strike has crippled the system.Most of the good heads we have in Nigeria have traveled out.

  8. Minister of Education yet has little value for education because why would he walk out on them when pressed? Even if the question is unethical and tactless, he still would have done better than to walk out. He doesn’t rate them at all. Smh

  12. There no law stopping ministers from sending their children abroad for any level of education. His children were already schooling abroad before he became a minister. Moreover , NANs leadership was rude , there is no trade dispute between government and NANs, the minister could have decided not to meet them. Senseless youths who don't know where and when to respect boundaries
