This is touching. And with how the world is going, more of this will be needed. God bless all involved in this kindness.

ReplyDeletePlease I have a question
ReplyDeletePlease why is it that you hardly see a volunteer program in Nigeria?
1 Most Nigerians are largely selfish, what doesn't benefit them rarely interests them.
Delete2 Many are on/below the poverty line π️and if you can't adequately care for yourself, it's unlikely you'll have the capacity (time and resources) to care for others.
That's cos the work the volunteers do are actually paid work in kind/cash but the supervisor or organisers pocket them.
DeleteThat's why most volunteer programs don't come here cos the Nigerians in charge always mess it up. And the Nigerian ones will just use the volunteers to stupor.
@twins square and amethyst you all nailed the points .I would love to volunteer but I dont really see a clear and organised volunteer program..and the wickedness of some Nigerians unfortunately in positions of trust is truly sad. why always nigerians ? we spent so much time condemning our leaders but in your small corner you are as wicked to your fellow citizen ...there is something fundamentally wrong with mindsets in Nigeria from top to bottom
DeleteAnon 19:39... I'm still searching but yet to find any. May God order our steps π
DeleteSame here I will love to volunteer but I haven't seen a clear and organized volunteer program
