  1. Abortions cause more infertility than both endometriosis, Adenomyosis and fibroid combined. Previous abortions causes Pelvic Inflammatory Disease and septic abortions causes frozen pelvis. D&C causes intrauterine adhesions or Asheman's syndrome (please google this before you attack my comments).
Read up these things online. It will help you to make decisions about your reproductory health.

    1. I had Asheman's syndrome from a badly handled evacuation during an unfortunate miscarriage, plus fibroids. I had 2 failed IVFs due to the adhesions. I did adhesiolises (not sure of the spelling) then conceived naturally.

    2. Thank God @Saphire that you were able to conceive. A lot of ladies are not that fortunate.
Jesus had mercy on you. Will you give him your life?

Who do you think had my life b4? I might not be a fanatic or stuff my faith down people's throat and may have very liberal views but all that doesn't mean I am not a child of God. I just practice this Christianity the way it works for me and gives me peace. And trust me, I have practiced your kind and it didn't work for me. So...relax, God and I, we are good.

  2. Never know l have fibroid till l went for scan cos I was TTC. Was surprised, no symptoms at all. Menses were regularly, no heavy bleeding. Though the doctor said that it's not the cause of my infertility cos it is outside the uterus and still small in size. But I am not happy, any small stomach pain, my mind will go to the fibroid as the cause, . Now always scared of eating some foods. I wish I didn't know I have fibroid. The fear also made me to be so desperate to have a baby which leads to the crash of my marriage. God please help us women to overcome.

  3. Thats not true stella. Your statistics is flawed. There are various other causes of infertility other than the aforementioned.

  7. Ok. I was diagnosed of endometriosis. I went to Dunamis church international n drop the doctors report there. N I also tried desperately to conceive. Well any deliverance service I attended anytime the pastor mention sickness. I will place my hands in my tommy n receive healing. I also have a local church I attend that's not dunamis. I took in last year ending n miscarriage. During the process of evacuation, the endometriosis has disappear. Where it went too I don't know. Somehow it made me feel better that I lost the pregnancy. I am pregnant again n all is fine including my medical report. For a truth the endometriosis has gone back to hell. My womb is so free. All I can say is God healed me. Is a big testimony bc endometriosis has no medical cure.

  8. I went for scan last December due to pains on both sides below my rib cage. Result showed I have renal cyst, multiple uterine fibroids and adenomyosis. I was shocked because my cycle is normal and i have 3 kids. The doctor has advised us to do hysterectomy but I'm scared to be honest. We are planning on seeking 2nd opinion. He also told me to stop taking contraceptives because according to him that's the trigger. God will come through for us.

  9. I have severe adenomyosis. Thankfully i have children. I know it affects fertility but fortunately, my fertility wasnt affected. I have to be on the mirena coil to control the bleeding and clots so my heart goes out to those diagnosed and still TTC.

In all, get yourself a very supportive and GOD fearing spouse.....remember humble, church going, tongue speaking, poor doesnt equate to GOD fearing, neither does rich and generous equate to supportive

    4. To the anon, its not letting me post with me acc for some reason so see your reply.

The mirena works by releasing a certain hormone which controls the bleeding. After about 3 months of having the mirena, your bleeding should stop though most people notice the heaviness of bleeding reduced within 6 weeks.
By the 4th month you ll start having a "normal cycle" where you have very light bleeds for a few days every 4 - 6wks.
Some women may not have a period at all and will only start experiencing periods around 3 - 4yrs into their mirena coil. Thats because the mirena coil is only effective for 5yrs so by 4yrs in, it begins to loose its efficacy.
Its also very important to check the threads from time to time because the coil may have moved and you can get pregnant.

I had my first coil put in last year feb and by may i had no periods. By october i started having periods.
In Jan this yearbi started experiencing the heavy bleeding again and immediately knew something was up. Went to see my doc and ran some scans, turns out my body expelled the coil cos they couldnt see it in the scan which explained the heavy clots .
Did further scans and xrays still no coil in sight so they put another mirena in me. Its 4 weeks since i had the 2nd mirena and i am still bleeding though very light now but with cramps. Thats the life of a woman. I have cousins whom are desperate for children and aunties (4 of my mums sisters) never had biological children of theirs , now in their 80's and 70's so to be able to conceive naturally without any effort despite all of this discomfort and to carry to term is a blessing.

Oh, one thing my gynae said is that Adenomyosis is caused by scar tissue, often from a surgery. Mine started a yr after my 2nd child whom i had via elective cs. But pls dont be discouraged from having a CS especially when its life saving.

  11. Found out I had fibroids while TTC for 2 years. I was so worried about not having babies but dearest hubby was not worried at all. He even refused to go to the clinic with me for his checkup. I had to get a loan for a fibroid surgery. After surgery still no pregnancy. It was horrible. Eventually the marriage scattered. I fell in love with a kind man and I got pregnant the first time we had sex. We are happily married now and we have more children. Apparently my Ex was shooting blanks and he used my fibroids as a cover up.

  13. I was diagnosed with endometriosis 3 months back.

Prior to that, my symptoms were painful periods that got worse each month. Menstrual cramps before my period starts, lower pelvic pain, and severe waist pain during my periods. These pains were severe whenever I use the toilet(defeacation), especially for the first 2-3 days of my cycle. These I managed with hot water bottles and warm baths.

In February, I experienced the sharpest pain I ever felt on my right lower abdomen, 3 pelvic scans revealed I had bilateral ovarian cysts. My Ob-gyn recommended surgery (reason being the size of the right cyst was too big to be managed). Thankfully, I had my surgery, had both cysts removed.

Biopsy confirmed my cysts to be endometriomas. I’ve been on some hormones post-surgery, to help manage the endo, hopefully it doesn’t regrow. Sending out love to all women with health issues. May God help us allπŸ₯°
