  2. You are a minister of the gospel (in songs):
Matthew 10:7 7 As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy,[a] drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.

    1. And the eba their families will eat will come free too. He gave a simple reasonable explanation up there but Bible verses won't let you reason with your freely given brain. You also read him say they charge out of experience, or is that also too hard to digest?

    2. A big joker. Like the Levites weren't catered for 🙄

    3. They get paid from the offerings the church receives, so no big deal. If the missionaries and pastors can collect, why shouldn't he?

Yes, the Levites were "catered for" from the tithes; they have no other means of livelihood.
They do not charge monies to minister on the Lord's altar. Same with the gospel singers; they should NOT
charge monies for their performances. The gospel is not for sale

  3. Paul also had companions in his ministry (Luke, Mark, Silas and so on). They all left everything to follow Jesus. They lived on "donations" not "charges." They charged no fees to minister to people. As some point, Paul who was a lawyer made tents to sustain himself to preach.
Find another excuse for greedy behaviors.

    1. Does your daddy and mummy GO live on donations? Are people not brainwashed into paying 10% of their earnings to live? Will you give your 10% to a gospel singer if he doesn’t charge?be in the spirit pls

Your "Daddy and mommy GO " are not the standard. The word of God is the standard and that is what he will use to judge.
I just told you how Paul and co lived. Tell me of examples from the Word of God or jump.

  5. Even men of God get paid through tithes and offering why not gospel singers? I find pastors who say gospel singers shouldn’t be paid selfish ,but you’re getting paid . They have families and bills too.

  6. Well me I think gospel ministration should be free cos the gospel of Jesus Christ is free of charge and it's left for the church or organisers to give thier love gift. It is reasonable enough for organisers to know that gospel artistes also need up keep just like everyother person. Everyone has thier own opinion. Outrageous charges just makes me wonder if its really the goodness they are spreading through music or something else.

  7. People certainly should be paid for their work. The country is damn too hard for people to do things for free these days. Gospel singers have families to take care of, so they should be paid. I wonder why some workers in the church don't get paid . Members pay tithes and offering, so as much as some of the money is used for church projects, the rest should be used to pay church workers. So I believe Gospel singer's should be paid. Gospel singer's have rehearsals and other back up singer's that help them, most of them will need costumes etc. So the time spent should definitely be awarded...😶😶😶😶😶😶😶😶😶😶😶😶

  8. It's good they charge for performances which what it is most of the time. They are professional singers and they should earn .What I dont get is when they start saying God told me ,or that as you here and singing chains are breaking or receive this and that, there by abusing some gullible worshippers emotionally

    1. Singing or performing is another way to minister to people not just for entertainment. People get healed through songs as well so yes, The Holy Spirit can send a message to and through the singer.

  9. People should carefully analyse anything they're getting into to avoid regrets and bitterness. Gospel artistes pay a lot of money for studio sessions, back up singers, promotions and video shoots and they don't make any tangible income for all their efforts. How many churches actually have the money to pay? I myself have composed good gospel songs but after carefully researching on the industry and what one needs to succeed and make money from it, I realised it's just like chasing the wind except if you only care about the fame. I don't want fame without
money. There's no money there. Many Gospel artistes hustle for 'ministrations '. You may think the top gospel singers made money from music but it's not really true. Nobody will tell you how they made their money.

  10. The entire church business is a scam. How much did the psalmist, Jesus or his disciples charge or collect from anyone as a means to sustain themselves?
There are no Levites in Christianity where there is no Jew or Greek and there are no synagogue and temples for them to maintain. The new testament is clear on what God's temple/ church on earth is.

How did the early church finance itself and how did they cover expenses? The shopping complexes and mafia families you have created and called church have nothing to do with Christ. He who doesn't work should not eat. The Nazarene carpenter did not die for you to be using others as a meal ticket.

People like Fela are far more godly and honest about the business of music then those fleecing sheeple all over the world, monetizing what the ignorant mistake for God's presence.

    Go and farm.
