    1. Yes
She’s willing to put in the work to make her marriage work.
I always tell people that marriage isn’t so hard, like it’s been pretty easy, except maybe concerning things that are outside your control but what’s the difficult thing in putting in the work.
As long as you both do with true love and respect, there’s no way it will fail.
Like she said… except God wants something different.

      Push up (original)

    2. She's willing but is her husband willing.? One party cannot be the one carrying the load. I need my Oduduwa women of the west to stand up n be freed from the shackles of thinking marriage is the end all n be all of their existence. I mean there is a reason why yoruba demons feel so entitled and are so toxic

  4. It is never God's will for anyone to be in abusive situation.
Not saying BamBam is, but please do not make statements like this as they are toxic to victims in violent and abusive situationships.
The onus for "marriage must work" is not just on one partner.

    1. Exactly, this statement just underlines the rumours we have been hearing for years. Please, if you are being abused, you OWE it to your children to leave, contrary to what we think, children can deal with the fact that my parents don't like each other anymore but they still love me.

We have many dysfunctional families cos of this idea, so long as we are living together as a family all is well when even a 2 year old child can see that all is not well.

    2. This is the kind of toxic mentality most Yoruba women are taught to have. About marriage. They must stay in marriage with husband no matter the abuse. Being married is the most important thing to
survival. My mum is a yoruba lady so I've seen it live and direct. Also some of the relationship advice she gives me is also borderline toxic and unhealthy. Luckily i noticed it is. My father stopped beating her when they relocated to the abroad. But I mean, I see no love In that marriage. She's staying there mostly to save face

  11. So leaving a toxic or abusive or loveless marriage means u have failed ur kids? So what if the marriage is not working? You force it to work and die there? Smh!

    1. Don't mind them. That is how they raise disfunctional kids in a toxic marriage thinking they are doing them good by remaining there

  13. Lucky baby. The adoptive parents go love am die.
This is a better decision than abortion. X did well to carry to term. It's just adoption with Nigerian factor.

  16. Nothing is life is mandatory. If your marriage has become abusive leave and don't say it is in God's hands because he did not make the choice for you.

  18. Solomon prayed for wisdom and he was given... Pray for wisdom first before dabbling on some sensitive issues.... Even the marriage cousellors are not always right when it comes to marriage, that's why many of their marriage are on the rock... Wisdom, tolerance, love is key... When domestic violence is involved pls run for your dear life.
