We always have to prove our essence on earth....Seen more like the property of a man, your purpose and legacy are tied to if you wear a wedding band...I am always used as the yardstick for morality..I can go on and on and on...

  7. Being consistently denigrated by a society that is filled with bottom barrelled men, zero leadership skills, zero sense of responsibility, zero common sense, zero eveverything.

Nothing of value to glean from them.

    1. The ironic thing is these men still find a way to blame women for their irresponsibility and total lack of discipline and common sense. Everything must be the fault of women.

  10. U can't be a female and be single yet u want to rent an apartment in naija especially in Lagos..u will be fustrated from every angle.like seriously, our African mentality isn't helping single ladies, they will be regarded as prostitute except if u are married, then u will be highly regarded and respected.i have alot of friends who are single yet have a good job but having issues with renting houses just because they are single

  11. Menstruation, pregnancy and labour. Then the notion that my existence as a woman has to be linked with that of a man especially when it comes to marital status. Female opinions rarely count except when approved by the male gender. That's why any woman with a smart and differing opinion from that of a man is called a feminist with so much disdain.

    1. Why should the opinions of irrelevant people ie disdain be even given any attention? Our validation must only come from GOD and from within yourself

  12. Have you ever seen the society looking down on a man for not being a virgin? Have the society ever looked down on a man for being morally loosed. But women are expected to be this and more so it goes both ways.
Same way society have conditioned women to be the symbol of morality is the same way the men have been tasked with the responsibility of being providers.

Stop complaining go and hustle hard please

  15. Mensuration. Validation from society. Insecurity. Childbirth. Menopause. Symbol of morality. Whole essence of life tied to a man. Created to please a man, at least in this part of the world. Not appreciated enough.

From a man that has empathy for women.

    2. I wish we can naturally switch gender. You guys are only tasked to be a provider while some women are even the providers in their home. You men do not experience menstruation, pregnancy stress, labour pain, fibroid and menopause. No two ways about them.Every woman must pass through all except fibroid which is not applicable to all women

  23. Pregnancy and labor pain.Im so scared of these 2 that I always find myself unconsciously saying I don’t want to go through pregnancy and childbirth but my friends and mum are always trying to shut me up. I wonder how women who have kids now did it ๐Ÿฅบ. I love kids so much but I don’t think I’m mentally ready for that phase,of pregnancy and childbirth,It scares the shit out of me.I don’t even know how to kill this fear.If I see pregnant women I always feel pity for them,๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃwhen my bestie was pregnant i was with her all thru till she entered labor, and I don’t think I can ever be prepared for labor pains.God please help me ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

  24. Being reminded every day that you are a woman and is not expected to be heard. It pains me so much when I have to prove to someone that I am capable and not being looked down by the opposite gender. I am not inferior to you. I only came out as a female while you came out as a male. All the process your mum went through before your birth was same my mum went through. You went through school and I did too. I might even be smarter than you in school. You got employed and pay your bills and I did too. Did men pay higher than female while in school because they are men?.Do. Men walk with their head while female walk with legs?.. Please give me some respect because I am a full human and not inferior to you.

  25. Women are constantly pressured by biology and society! However, God has been kind to me through the various phases of being female : from bearable menstrual periods, to bearable labour contractions. I look forward to having a bearable menopausal phase and enjoy grandma phase. I have purposed in my heart to embrace womanhood with joy all the way!
