The Federal Government has said it would no longer succumb to any form of blackmail and intimidation that will make it enter into agreement with unions that will be difficult to implement. This is coming on the heels of the face-off between it and the four university-based unions that culminated in a strike which has lingered for about six months.

- Hon. Fatuhu Muhammadu, a nephew to President Muhammadu Buhari, has reportedly dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

-. The Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association, NECA, weekend, in Lagos, raised alarm over the nation’s economy, saying it is on the brink. -. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, yesterday, said that the number of accidents and security issues has dropped since the ban on commercial motorcycles, popularly known as okada in the State. Speaking on Channels TV yesterday, the governor said there have been tremendous improvements in the areas where okada has been banned.

-. Some opposition lawmakers in the House of Representatives have said they were not interested in the impeachment threats against President Muhammadu Buhari. While some cited the timing as a major factor, others said the presiding officers of both chambers of the National Assembly were Buhari’s henchmen who would strongly frustrate the plan to remove him.

-. President Muhammadu Buhari said yesterday it was instructive that Nigeria was attracting positive international attention as a country promoting media freedom and freedom of expression. According to his media aide, Femi Adesina, Buhari said this while pledging his “full support” for three major international events scheduled to hold in Nigeria in October and November 2022.

  1. I love this segment. This is beautiful

  2. it's seems FG isn't ready to dance to the tunes of much time wasted already.FG/ASSU should pity the youths and reach an agreement cos it's so unfair on the young generations

  3. What a failed system!!! You hardly ever read anything positive about Nigeria. It's either you read about strike, terrorism , downward slope of the economy or some bizzare decisions made by the govt. May God help us.

  4. It's well. Out of the ten headlines, only one made it better.

  5. The female teams making us proud in uk👏

  6. I totally agree with FG. Most of the previous agreements were signed without the desire to implement.

  7. Lord intervene in the ASUU/FG palaver

  8. Congrats to our racers,Keep making us proud.
Nice one by the Nigerian airforce.
I choose to focus on the good news.

  9. This government lacks sincerity, you make negotiation with some of these unions, and when it comes to implementation they pull back.

  10. We desperately need Gods intervention at this very point in Nigeria. The senate and HOR are serving Buhari instead of Nigeria. It is well with us

  11. The only good news recently is that of the Nigerian female athletes. Stella thanks for this segment

  12. These athletes are really doing great things.

  13. Nigerian news these days gives me anxiety. So many negative and backward reports. God bless Nigeria.

  14. My heart bleeds for students! Almost getting to 9months now, only God can intervene,it obvious this government doesn't give a hoot about education, those Bethel girls and Chibok girls plus the remaining Islammiya students are still in captivity,I can't just imagine what they are going through,Lord please come through for them,it disheartening!
