INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

When i was growing up, my mom had this bowl that was about two litres that she used to drink “tea”, usually lipton or Milo drink. Only her coffee was in a small cup.

I used to tease her as I grew up, I would tell her she was behaving like a village woman and all. Her usual reply was that since she was always on her feet that’s how she ensured she was always hydrated. I didn’t understand her then.

I went visiting randomly one day and I noticed she was drinking “tea” from a proper mug, I asked what changed and she said the reason she was always stressed and on her feet were all grown up and she can now relax and enjoy her “tea” .

I understood perfectly this time around.

I understood because I also have a two litres jug always filled with “ tea" that I am constantly sipping so I can stay hydrated too while keeping up with my brood.

Where can i buy this Jug? hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahah

UPDATE ON PREGNANCY JOURNEY

Hi SDK and bvs, you didn't hear from me because something happened that dampened my spirit. I was in high spirits when I started but right now, hmmmm.

 I went to see the doctor a day after my period. I paid and his nurse prepared the theatre.

They now opened and spread my legs wide and strapped them on the bed railings (see my heart beating so fast).

He brought injection kit, I asked what it was for, he said I will feel slight pains during the procedure so he wants to put me to sleep, I told him no need, I can bear pains(me that have low pain threshold o)

Then I asked him to explain what he wants to do. He showed me a pipe, said he will insert it  and pump hair into my tubes and use the stethoscope to listen to the air or something like that so he can ascertain if the tubes are viable. He said I should bear the pain as it is just for a short time. 

He did it and I felt pains, bit my lips and endured. Then he brought some tools and wrapped tissue paper on one of them and started cleaning my insides. 

After everything, the nurse gave me injection, said it was antibiotics. Then they wrote some antibiotics like ampiclox and Flagil for me to buy and take. He also wrote Cl*m*d, I was to start taking it on the fourth day after my period. 

I felt pain in my lower abdomen and was bleeding slightly for the next few days. I went back to take injection for two more days.

Then the fourth day came and I brought out the Cl*mi*d that I bought.

Stella, after I read the leaflet inside the pack, cold begin catch me. Among other things, they wrote that it causes ovarian cyst, ovarian cancer, multiple births, etc. 

"God! will I not use my hand to do myself like this?" I said to myself.

I later took it with faith believing God for the best. I took it for the next five days. 

Then it was time for doing the do, husband said he was tired. Haa! oga don't be tired pls, one round is ok. He refused o. 

I now told him what I did and how important it is for us to do the do. Oga flared up and said I did not carry him along. He said he is not doing anything again. I told him that the reason I didn't inform him was because he always discouraged me in the past and time is going. I begged him for forgiveness, still he was adamant. That was how we fought and didn't do anything till my ovulation period passed, infact that month passed. I just wasted money and chopped pains for nothing o. I also risked my life and took that drug for nothing. The drug scattered my cycle and I didn't see my period for that month, I also had serious cramps throughout that month. I even did pregnancy test thinking that one we did before I took Cl*m*d had entereded, it was negative.

I was very angry at his actions. I'm still angry.

I reported him to his mum.

You see, for years now, the poor woman had been telling me to go for tests without his knowledge. After I reported, she told me to placate him and make him cooperate with me till I get results. I already knew he doesn't listen to anyone but I had to tell her so she would know what her son is doing. I refused to talk to him for a week. He later begged me and said we should keep trying especially during my ovulation period, that I should let him know when it is time.

 I am still angry at what happened and I don't even sleep on the same bed with him anymore until my ovulation period. I have told him that I no longer want to gbensh for fun or pleasure, that I'm tired of that, the gbensh I want now is for pregnancy and baby or he should forget it. I will drag him to the lab for his own tests soon. If he refuses to cooperate, he won't enjoy the marriage anymore.

There must be a reason why he rejected you when you were supposedly fertile and came back to beg after ovulation. Please go and check properly. he might have low count or none at all.

LOVE IS NOT BLIND  


I don come again, this time around, na for women wey tink say love blind. Some of us have failed to get the difference between LOVE, S#X, INFATUATION, LIKENESS and LUST.


I always have issues with any woman who after months or years of marriage tend to say "She regrets marrying the man she is with". I always see such woman as someone who needs medical attention because it baffles me when at the initial stage, you see different red flags but because your own love is blind, you thought marriage will make him change., sit down there make pant dey wear you.


You are dating someone who loves punching you but you kept loving up because he has money and buy you gifts after punching you as a way of buying your conscience. Why on earth will someone you are dating lay hands on you? not to even talk of your husband. The best way a man should beat his wife is on the bed with a good flogging style  and not using you as a punching bag.


Those days, I used to have a friend(very close friend) who was dating a lady, this lady will come and before you know it, small issue will lead to my friend beating up this lady because myself and the guy in question stayed together then ..... This my friend will beat this lady till all her face go change color and shape. If we try to separate them, guy man will want to fight us(no wahala now, naso we free them).


More so, I had a bad plan for this friend of mine and it was to beat him up seriously anytime he dare raises his hand on that lady but everything went cold on me when I noticed that, this lady will be the first person to knock our door with a cooler of rice and meat(hot one oo). Then I knew she was destined for beating.

 They continued till I left and went for my degree, but when we reconnected the same month I was deployed to Katsina for NYSC, I heard they are both married with 3kids but guy man still beats her but guess what? they are both separated now, from the info I got yesterday because I called the said lady when I scrolled through my contact and saw her line . Then she began to tell me alot which I reminded her of what I told her then but she replied me saying "Uncle Bisi, you know love is blind". love is blind and you didn't get married to a mad man roaming the street abi?


In a nutshell, stop allowing silly man to buy your conscience with gift after he has used you as a punching bag, I'm not advocating for divorce but don't forget that the kingdom of God suffereth violence and violence ...........(if you know what I mean). Some men can change immediately their wife attack them back but some are devilish, they will never change until you let go of them and make them see reason why beating a woman is bad. A man who wants a better thing in life and also wants his children to emulate him will not raise his hand on his wife.
