In a sane clime and working institutional system, the government is posed with the responsibility to investigate why good numbers of her citizens are living in abject poverty and penury.
ReplyDeleteNo, they're not bothered about that but too quick to harass those who made it genuinely with struggle and difficulties. In most times accusing them of yahoo, drugs or prostitution.
Why I don't and would never condone crime and illicit wealth, I will never go against anyone on their choice of survival or envy them. Knowing that whatever it is, a price was paid.
The government should do better and the rate of criminality will reduce to the bearest minimum.

DeleteA young woman or man who decides to follow sugar daddy/mommy inorder to survive and put food on their tables. I said, I don't support or condone it but I won't fight them either for the choice or path they have chosen for themselves in life. It's a price they have chosen to pay in life in other to survive. Whatever be the outcome, they go in for it.
In overseas do you constantly hear cries of criminality or social vices all the time? No. Why? Cos there's a responsible government of the day over there. People who are jobless over there are being paid stipend weekly or on monthly basis till they get something doing and it discourages crimes and promiscuous living to a good extent.
What do we have here? I guess you know the answer. An unemployed man or woman will definitely want to survive. What are the plans of government to lift at least a good number of people out from unemployment and make them productive?
You can't be shouting about crimes and urging the government to go after the same people they have improverished over the years.
Mbanu!! Things don't work that way.
If there's a better government and working institutional system, believe me the crime rates in the society or this urge of get rich quick will drastically reduce. People will get value for their hard work and productivity.
