  1. Whatever I did was done in love & humanity. I have no regrets whatsoever for my kind deed.

    #Zero worries and No regret

  2. Not really, When I lend a helping hand, I do it with the mindset that it's unto the Lord, so whether you appreciate it, complain or outrightly throw it in my face, it's God that will reward me. It's not for self gratification.

    1. Does that include gifting someone and they don’t say thanks?

    2. I used to send money to my uncles son I’ve never met. He’s 18 and able to hustle to support his parents to pay some bills so I was sending monthly to him. This boy started posting girlfriend pictures on his dp with lovey dovey words I was like so na your priority be this with una financial situation abi? Anyway I kept on sending until the company I used their account was closed so my money hang and since then I couldn’t find a replacement company. Someone that used to wish me happy new month and all stopped just because I couldn’t send money again. Before I could say jack he blocked me๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Jesu is this how people are? I’m still shocked

    5. 18:52. No!
If they don't thank you, you shouldn't regret helping them. Leave God to judge your good deeds and reward you accordingly. Let them go with their 'thanks'

  3. Yes! Kid sis finished secondary school & got tired of staying in the villa. I decided to bring her to live with me & sponsored her higher education singlehandedly, a decision I later regretted because kid sis decided to pay me back by attempting to lure my hubby into having s*x with her. Though I've forgiven her & we're cool now, I still regret bringing her into my home to live with me.

    1. You saw her attempting to lure your hubby to sleep with her or your hubby told you that?
If you didn't witness the incident yourself, pls stop beefing the poor girl. It may be that your husband was the one disturbing and luring the girl to sleep with him. Some Nigerian men's lies can wake up the dead. You will even catch them in the act but they will lie and make you look stupid and apologize. Trust them at your own peril.

  5. Yes.
I helped someone secure a job,on the long run,she stole from her boss and ran,her boss alerted me because I also happened to her guarantor.I had to literally beg this man to pardon me while I find the girl, which I did.
I don't know what would have happened if I wasn't a friend to the boss. This was a girl that begged me to find her a job o
    No,it's not an office work.

    1. You did well by leaving both of them. Some foolish girls would have fought the friend and retained the dog of a man in order to pepper the ex-friend. They will even go ahead and marry him to still pepper her then come here to disturb our eyes with their cheating horsebands stories.

  7. Yes. It happened recently. We are going through some financial issues presently, and someone that hasn't seen my husband in more than 2 years calls for help. With our predicament, we gave him some money. He never called to say thank you. It was so so shocking because he is someone we have respect for. Maybe he felt the money was beneath him, but that was all we could afford

  8. No.

I see it as doing it because of God as my reward will come from Him and not the person.

    ReplyDelete
  9. No, because I did to exalt God's name. Infact,I like when you just thank me once and not continuously because,It makes me feel uncomfortable

  10. No. Maybe it's because none of those I have helped in the past had done something so bad to warrant it, like putting me in trouble(God forbid)
I would help some and they would backbite me afterwards saying all sorts but I don't regret what I did for them.
Some would not even say 'thanks", I ignore.
Some would take you for a fool and keep coming to collect from you even when they know you are managing, when you don't give, they start keeping malice, I still don't regret helping them initially.

Why don't I regret all all of the above, I help out if it is within my power in order to fulfill God's order. Not for the person in question to reward me.

  11. Hmmm, yes ooo. Have this very ungrateful lady in my office, I give her money everyday cos she's from a very very poor background, with her family status she happens to be the breadwinner, so with that I just had sympathy on her, omo babe turned out to be very ungrateful,, I blocked her and moved on, afterall I gat nothing to loose. 13. Solely for God because if for thank you people will leave speechless

  14. Yes. Countless times but I don't dwell on them. From early on and from my dad's stories, I was taught to help because of God. 1 out of 10 will be thankful and may repay you.

Infact, one life lesson I hold dear to me is "people you help and keep helping, once you stop giving, have challenge or even wrong them once, they turn and make you an enemy".
"Men are quick to repay wrong than right".

Dad had a brother who he trained from Primary to Uni (story for another day), helped him set up his business and marry sef. He became successful then. One of my bro then went to him and was like "Uncle, as my pops don help you before, why you no wan look him side and children side again". Omo, na so Uncle and wife carry the matter for head like gala till today say na my pops send him son to come k#ll am and all. Like play, dem brand my pops enemy.

    1. Sepremeflow I felt like I wrote this.

My dad trained his 3 brothers from high school to Uni set them up in business because they had bad grades even bought them cars Omo story plenty - then a civil servants salary was worth it’s salt. Dad had businesses but you know business it’s up and down my uncles have business to but came to blow because of direct affiliation to the President, they don’t look out side one of my uncles keeps refusing that dad never helped him! If they see me or any of my dads children they don’t mind ignoring us- they’ve named themselves enemies to avoid accountability !! At the time I was getting married my bucks said “I’d rather give my poor sisters money than your daughter I have no business with her” me being me I get mind I no beg abeg! He himself sent money equivalent less than my one month salary (he is super rich not even that I’m ungrateful) - I just said thank God it’s money I can spend myself if I ever hear pim I go dash am back either way I just face forward

  17. My mom did carry family for head send them all abroad in turn they came to help neighbors distant relations friends she didn’t regret it but we her children did because we know how she suffered in silence whenever her loved ones where in the country only for you to hear from your friends that they her in turn they where all younger than her so she’ll always say it’s youthful exuberance now she’s gone waiting for just a phone call from them for decades. I’m not happy with them but God dey

  19. Yes oo, I got betrayed by them. I became a bad person to them. I’ve learnt to help people from afar and not bring them close to my home or my place of work. I thank God for saving me from those evil people. One at Uni, in my bed, in my hostel, one in my house and another to my office, my department sef.

  20. I assisted someone with 40k in march , the person pleaded and pleaded for days that it was urgent.. since she was my friend and i didn't have that much myself, I gave her 20k of my own then borrowed 20k from another person to add up and send to her.
She promised to pay back in one week because she needed to complete payment for hospital bills..
We are in September and I have only gotten 20k from my money, after I pleaded, shouted, pleaded again for my own money o..I paid back the money I took from the other person, I am still awaiting my own 20k.
I regret assisting her honestly, I still regret till this day...I've learnt my lesson the hard way.
