ReplyDeleteIt's will be so painful and I think it's a deceptive marriage. A deceptive marriage isn't a good one. I will understand if she's not aware but knowing fully well of her medical condition and didn't let me know, I think it's a wicked act. I will try to know from the doctor if there's possibility of she being fertile again when treated but I won't go the divorce way cos of that. Not at all.

1. Adoption
2. A second wife.
This is an interesting conversation. If I were to be a woman, I won't divorce my husband on the ground of being infertile even if he had hid it from my knowledge. It's very painful and hurting.
DeleteEven as painful as it is provided he's a good and caring husband. Unless he's a bad and wicked husband.
Being infertile doesn't rule out a good knacking from him just that he can't procreate. If there's great love & companionship between us, We can try the artificial insemination thing.

DeleteHis perspective from a female actually makes sense, if he is a good husband that lied in that regard, it's better to consider other alternatives, like artificial insemination through IVF/surrogacy or adoption as a last resort.
DeleteHad a friend who it happened to. Husband knew he was infertile and didn't let her know until nearly 10yrs later. She had visited their family friend's house for the holidays and stumbled upon the husband's box of documents he kept in that house, there she found proof of all the tests the husband had done. She carried the box and sent it straight to her parents. Meanwhile, he followed her to all the tests the doctors conducted. She divorced him 10yrs into the marriage. Guy was not even remorseful.
ReplyDeleteAccording to you they went for several tests. So what were the test results? I believe she left cos of the deceit and not him being infertile. The test results could have revealed to her he's infertile. She finally left cos she found out he deceived her.

ReplyDeleteThat's why it's good to marry in a Christian way. Before you get married in my church, you have to undergo some trainings and some medical check-up, before you will be qualified for marriage.
To be truthful....I won't walk away, there's alot of option now to choose for those looking forward for a child of there own.But if I discovered that secret after a long time being married, things won't be the same again but if it's in short while I discovered, I will forgive.

ReplyDeleteAlmost happened to me. The guy was saying no sex until after marriage. I was so happy I had finally met a decent man. My mum then said I should go and spend time with him because he was in another state. That was when I discovered he has issues. Funny thing is that his mum knew, because when I told her, she didn't act surprised
