INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD .
When I had my babies, there were a lot of advises and suggestions as usual on what and what I should feed them from birth to help them reach their milestones better.
I went online and checked them out, a lot of this things that were suggested were on the top of the list of what not to give babies. Some of the things that should never be fed to a new born that where suggested to me were honey, boiled mango leaf water for bronchitis etc, camphor (Kafura) water for pile and so many other things.
Honey is known to cause infant botulism and can be fatal in babies, the bacteria that causes this issue ( its a kind of food poisoning) has been found in honey and should not be given to children below one. By one year old, the child’s digestive system is believed to have developed enough to handle this.
Camphor( Kafura) purported to work for pile, colic etc in babies should be avoided at all cost. It’s too harsh for a baby stomach linen and incessant exposure has been linked to central nervous system defects.
Mango leaves though very medicinal for adults and are not totally bad but should be avoided for babies, we don’t have the right dosage for the use of this things for treating health issues in babies and can can cause more harm than good.
We really have to be careful about what we give our kids.

HOT GIST
I have been thinking a lot lately and it has dawned on me that truthfully, this life no balance at all...
On Saturday I was on my way to the market when I saw someone I knew from way back, at first I doubted it was him cos he looked tattered and was trekking, this man was a millionaire, so I looked deeper and when I was convinced that It was him I saw, I crossed to the other side and tapped him.....
He was already walking into the building when he turned and saw me, he was so happy to see me, I was kinda in a hurry, so I collected his contact and we met later in the evening..
I wanted to mind my business and not ask but I was really curious to know what happened to "Oga Boss", that's how we used to call him, na so story start ooo...
He said he caught his wife cheating on their matrimonial bed, and confronted her and told her that he would report her to her family, she then told him that if he ever told anyone about what he saw, that she will make life miserable for him.
he said he thought it was a mere threat, so he went ahead and invited all her family members, they came and didn't see anything wrong in what their child did, they told the man that he was always travelling and that can push a woman into temptation, that he should learn to sit down with his family sometimes, so when this meeting was over, guests travelled back to their destinations (and mind you that they made this man beg his wife for bringing in another man into their home, a house he singlehandedly built) all hell was let loose.
She would rant, fight and do all sorts of things, this man said he owned a business, a registered business, so he gave it to someone to be running the business for him so the state won't notice because the business is the kind that will always get it's contracts from the state government, and this man is amongst the people that awards contracts.
One day he got a call from his work place and ran to the office, only to meet an already waiting panel with a long list of complaints against him, he was cuffed and arrested, he was asked to pay back over 70 million naira for the contracts that his company collected cos they said he was awarding contracts to himself and was not doing the jobs well that he has to refund, he tried reaching out to the guy in charge of his company to ask him questions but the guy had relocated to Obodoyibo unknown to him, he didn't want to lose his job or position, so he started paying the money...
He even borrowed from cooperatives to pay, that was how he came down from grace to grass, the said wife refused to leave the house and now he's practically begging to survive, at his work place, he's been demoted twice, and he's still there managing the job and the wife is telling him that she's just getting started.
Presently cooperative people are coming for their money, so he started planning on selling the house, he didn't know how the wife found out, got a lawyer and was told that if he sells the house that he must give her 50% of the money, so selling the house is out of the picture and the Cooperative people are seriously coming for his head:
Things de happen, may God never allow us to marry our enemies in the name of marriage....
She was the one that went to report him for awarding himself the contracts....LOL na wah oh... This life no balance at all...A Man would apologize to his wife after she cheated on him?

How humiliating. Anyway the man kuku left the wife and stayed with the woman. As the wife followed someone else like 2 years later she got pregnant one hand. Like a year later her ex found out that the child he had with the baby mama child was not his own. So the begging part no surprise me at all. Women don Dey do am since!!

Jaundice is caused when by high level of bilirubin; haeme - the protein responsible for making red blood cells red is not completely broken and excrete from the blood..Organ responsible is the Liver....
DeleteSo as a pregnant mother, you should have early morning exposure to sun to get some Vitamin D which helps to synthesize the breakdown of the haeme. Then phototherapy cures newborn jaundice..
Lol. I bought a yellow cap for my baby. The nurse refused to wear her the cap cos of the colour. I carry the cap, wear am for baby by myself. My baby never had jaundice.

You can also gently press the nose bridge or forehead under a well lighted place then observe the colour .
I don't think jaundice can be avoided. Some say it's untreated malaria but it's not, others say it's yellow clothing which is definitely not. That's why it's advisable to check your baby for jaundice after 3days after birth, the SB level determines the mode of treatment. My 2 kids had jaundice
DeletePhototherapy works for mild jaundice, more sever case involves blood transfusion and all. I did all I was asked to do to prevent jaundice before baby came, baby had it and phototherapy was administered.

When I read stories like the above I marvel. People sleep in churchs and mosques. There are churches and mosques on every corner yet the rate of evil is alarming. How can a human cast spell on another through divination and it happens instantly?. The number of churches and mosques in Nigeria cannot be counted while the number of native doctor houses in the land can be counted yet the evil they do is overwhelming. In my village, there is no native doctor. Churches everywhere yet every family is laying accusing finger on another for visiting native doctor and being responsible for their negative ordeals.
