I wonder the difference between hellfire and this nation.alot of people are living in poverty even workers salaries these evil leaders can't pay.both young/old committing suicide daily.God will judge all our wicked, evil, clueless leaders😩
ReplyDeleteThis saying comes to mind
ReplyDeleteMany are mad,few are roaming
It's well with us Nigerians, we don too suffer,we've been through alot and alot has been through us,God suppose scrap hellfire for all Nigerians walai.
Hmmmm, it is well. I might be counted as one without knowing. God you are my strength and hope in everything.
ReplyDeleteI and my family are exempted..
ReplyDeleteYou are exempting yourself and your family because you’re stigmatizing mental illness. In other words, you think mental illness means madness. Unfortunately, that’s a very ignorant way to look at it.
DeleteThis information is very believable. Let me break it down for you:
Anxiety and depression are mental illnesses. If you’ve lived in or still live in Nigeria, the chances are very high that you’re experiencing anxiety and depression. The environment has been designed to do that to you, especially in the workplace.
Some people haven’t been able to recover from past traumatic events like the death of a loved one, pregnancy loss, car accidents, difficult breakups or divorces, domestic abuse, witnessing violence or death, etc. Others are constantly angry at every and anything. Can you see yourself or anyone you know in what I’ve just described?
So to avoid any display of ignorance, you should get yourself/family evaluated first and then get more awareness about mental illnesses so that you’ll know how to help yourself/others who are suffering in silence or living in denial.
Lies from the pits of hell. He is saying one in about 3 Nigerians have mental illness. If that's the case, then at least 10 people in his family have mental issues. He should start treating them as a psychiatrist. Let's start from there.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, l know many of them who take mpulumiri to come online and start disturbing our peace with chants of how PO is the best thing to happen to Nigeria after Agege bread 😃🤣
ReplyDelete🚶♂️🚶♂️🚶♂️
You just described yourself boy.
DeleteProf, I don't know how you arrived at this percentage. But I won't doubt you, the suffer in this part of the world is enough to make someone go mad.
ReplyDeleteWe are in trouble, if this is true.
DeleteE be like na true o, wahala too much na
ReplyDeleteI will agree.... And most of them are politicians
ReplyDeleteI see 30million reside in Lagos
ReplyDeleteAs for me, I know my place of work has affected my mental health seriously. I wish I could post the message one of my colleagues that just resigned sent to our MD. The guy had a serious mental breakdown and was crying like somebody died. At the end, he said he would rather resign than mad. I have a feeling that he was suicidal at some point. Best believe a one-man business is the "worstest" place to work in this country, they will overuse you and pay you meagre salary and still expect you to say thank you for paying us. I
ReplyDeleteSad truth.May God help us.

ReplyDeleteThis country is driving many people nut.
ReplyDeleteProf. Obindo taught me psychiatry in medical school. Such a humble and kind man. Mental health definitely needs more attention and awareness
ReplyDeleteThis is not far from the truth. You see well dressed people on the road some times talking to themselves. Nigeria stress is too much
ReplyDeleteHow did he arrive at such number? bullocks...
ReplyDeleteWhen people hear mental health, they think it's madness we are talking about. Anxiety disorder, depression, panic attacks, schizophrenia, OCD etc are all mental health problems. Let's pay attention to our health pls and know when to see the doctor pls.
ReplyDeleteOver half of that 60million will be Lagos residents😁
ReplyDeleteI won't even argue with whoever this psychiatrist is. He didn't actually capture the figure well, more than 80 million are with skoin skoin on their head in Nigeria. Na only me normal for my whole street!
ReplyDeleteLol its actually 👌 true you know, e be like say i follow too.
DeleteGod heal us completely 🙏
DeleteThe wahala for this country seff e reach to get mental illness. May God heal us all.
ReplyDeleteNonsense data. Anything below 150 million is fake news. Nobody normal for Nigeria
