Actress Lilian Esoro Says She Almost Ended It All When Her Crashed Marriage Became Talk Of Town

Actress Lilian Esoro says she went through hell and back and reveals how she felt when her crashed Marriage became the talk of the town...

Hmmmmm , Lilian, Lilian!

Interviewer: You kept on telling people that you got a lot of help, what exactly was your situation? How did you get help? Where are you right now?

Lilian Esoro: i was dealing with a lot of things that I didn't even know that I had. I gave an instance about my late mum , I wasn't able to grief. I spoke with my friend that's when she mentioned I needed to speak with you (interviewer). Loosing someone that's dear and you haven't been able to come to terms with it. Sometimes you blame yourself for something you have no control over.

There was a lot of things I later realized that I needed to work on, to look past the wrongs in see others, I needed to move past being a control freak. I should have let go and move on. Then I realized the weight was too much, I carried everyone's problems on my head and tend to forget about my own problems.

I needed to speak to someone.

Interviewer: How's it important to speak to someone?

Lilian Esoro: You can relate if you've been there before. For someone to understand where I'm coming from, to understand my pains and struggles.

I wasn't happy behind the smile. Of course you don't want anyone to see your pain but deep down you are suffering and smiling, that's what some people are going through.

The first step I took was to acknowledge that I had a problem and it was time to speak with someone. Depression is wrong, anger, mental illness is real.

Secondly, recognize the pain you feel, I was numb and immune to everything me. I was nonchalant, I was floating. I wasn't living in the moment because I refused to acknowledge the fact.

Interviewer: Over the past few years, what have been your lowest point?

Lilian Esoro: My lowest point was when my marriage ended and everyone was on it. I gave up on myself, I wanted to end it all but at the end of the day I'm grateful. I'm grateful for my son, he's my driving force.

The Lilian before... It was very bad, I was a control freak, the worry mum, wall builder... Everything... I come out smiling but unhappy. I'm glad the Lilian now is in a better place..I thank God.

    1. The same way you have assumed that she almost crashed homes is the same way that I assume you are either a serial home wrecker or are the adulterous spouse. Rumours can be very destructive. Please try to avoid the habit of either starting or spreading them. Only state what you have firsthand knowledge of.
