  1. First time commenting with a blog I.D please welcome me to the family. Me I don't have any holiday o, working 24th -27th morning. When people are celebrating in church I will be sleeping my arse off. Well it's better than having no job. Thanks God for that.

  2. This is another evidence of lack of good governance. Every time they “declare” these standard holidays there is a cost to the inefficiency. There are standard holidays, most countries already know most of their paid or public holidays except Nigerian government that “declares” it. What stops them from listing all the paid holidays ten years from now? Christmas is always on December 25, New Year 1st etc. except the Islamic holidays. Little things like this point to the larger issues of lack of good governance! We know elections are first Tuesday of November in the US regardless of whether it’s presidential or county, Labor Day is first Monday in September, Thanksgiving is last Thursday in November etc. It’s good for businesses as well. Why are we so disorganized?
