Ooni Of Ife Thanks God For Turning His Shame Into Celebration

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has thanked God for seeing him through when he was faced with challenges last year.




The Ooni said this on Saturday, in Ike-Ife, during the Grand-finale of New Year Prayer organised by the Christian Association of Nigeria at Afewonro Park,

The Oni, who led different Christian worship songs and praises during the service, emphasized that it was a good thing to always praise the Lord Jesus Christ and appreciate Him.

NAN reported the monarch saying God turned his shame to celebration.

“When I look back, I observe that my life is full of God’s blessings and miracles despite all the challenges that I faced. But the Lord gave me victory over them all.
He charged Christians to hold firmly unto The Lord Jesus Christ, saying“truly, He is the son of God and He is the one that lives with him (Ogunwusi) on the throne.
