  3. Yinmu, you people think those hoarders are stupid ba. As they are returning the hoarded old notes in trucks, they are withdrawing same value in new notes. Ofcourse the banks will hoard it, those managers know their percentage and cut from such backdoor deals. In the end, na the masses go feel am. Na make iya alata and aboki shoemaker begin carry POS about o. This one na by force cashless society. God forbid that the govt will restrict banks from further release of the new notes. That will be another level of wahala when people have money in the bank and they can not withdraw or transfer. Opin aye ti de tan o! God protect your children and give us a leader after your own heart!

  8. CBN earlier directive was that only the small denominations should be loaded in the ATM machines but now, it's only 1k denominations banks load. The small denominations 200 and 500 naira, I haven't set my eyes on any of them. Some banks have now placed ATM minimum withdrawal limit to 20k, and when they pay across the counter, they pay old notes.

    1. And some idiots are carrying placards under hot sun campaigning for the buffoons that put us here! God will not allow their evil to triumph anylonger. If you see what coaster biscuit looks like now! Dominos don begin sell rice and fried yam! If you find beef inside Gala, snap and keep inside museum.

  18. Old notes are still everywhere. As at yesterday, the POS operator beside my house, after queueing for hours at the bank ATM, they gave him only 10k instead of 100k that he wanted to withdraw, and it was old notes. They said that is the limit.
