    2. I had to pay my baby sitter cash yesterday,so I had to look for the new naira notes by force. How will a 22 years old girl not have bank account sef? I had to pay extra at the POS to get the new notes but I didn't even mind cos I don't have strength for ATM queue.

  4. It’s affecting my POS Biz since today cos we deposited the last old notes today at the bank;as customers aren’t accepting old notes anymore and we don’t have a single new note to give either..

    NNPC fuel station opp my office sold fuel today for 183 naira BUT you can only pay with new notes,they don’t accept transfer or POS..

    People are rushing to my office but no single new note to give;I dey calculate profit dey weep inside inside my heart😁..

  5. Sales dropped drastically all thanks to the old note deadline. Seller's are still collecting the old notes but everybody is afraid of the unknown.

  6. It is making buying and selling so hard. Nobody wants to collect the old notes and roads are blocked from bank working today amd fuel queues. I have the new notes I withdrew yesterday to 30k but in 1k denominations.

    I spent all the old notes since Tuesday, I have been saving hundred naira notes since last month, that's what I'm spending now.

    I have deposited my old notes last week, saved the lower denominations 100,50 naria, I have up to 5k of it, lol!
    So far so good.

  11. My pocket is empty can't even go out for owambe cos no cash.
    But I'm enjoying staying indoors for the weekend, paid for foodstuff & gas and fuel with pos and mobile transfer.
    They are no longer collecting old notes in my area.
    Next week we see how things will turn out
