    1. That is it, I hope they listen 👂. It is easy to point the finger but for that change start with us

  2. Only a country where things work well that you will say this. Not a country where politicians are already scheming on how to cheat at election.

  3. The bankers that hoard money in their bank vaults, sell money to POS operators and wealthy people, are they politicians? Apart from bad leadership, we are also our problems in this country.

Some banks at trans Amadi portharcourt operate at night just to service their big customers.

    1. Becky, leave us. You know people prefer to point fingers.

The Bank managers and fuel attendants are politicians.

  4. Only insane people would do such a thing but then, I must warn and say, rigging this election is a red line that shouldn't be crossed. Something more than EndSars will hit Nigeria. This time around it will be catastrophical in nature.

Our resolve shouldn't be put to test. We are tired already. Our tolerance and patience shouldn't be taken as a normal.

    1. Teejay,

Our tolerance? I thought you were not Nigerian?

    2. Tee-Jay and his likes need to stop threatening Nigerians. Everyone has a right to support their own candidate. We are yet to recover from the induced violence of the past, which did not turn out well for the inducers. A repeat scenario is not likely to be in their favour.

    3. If anyone wants the entire Nigeria turn to parts where people are being terrorized into staying at home even on Mondays rather than work, God won’t allow it. With over 200 ethnicities, threats that if one candidate loses fair & square there will be “catastrophe” is not good. Let there be a free & fair election. I want the youngest & least corrupt, the best of the top 3 candidates to win. Many of those threatening fire & brimstone in Lagos metropolitan area (which includes most of Ogun state) forget that Yorubaland has had urbane & liberal welcoming folks for centuries (Abeokuta has the first school in Nigeria), but will not become a war theater once the elections are free & fair. Nigerians will live with the consequences of their majority vote.

I remember how depressed many of us were on the night Trump won the presidency over Hilary. After the impressive, beloved (at least by Dems & minorities) Obama presidency! Even President Obama & Michelle were depressed as he had to hand over to an unintelligent, loud, brash Trump who most never took serious! My entire circle of friends were scared, depressed & anxious! Part of the consequence was his mishandling of what would have been an epidemic like Ebola & Bird Flu. He allowed it to become a global pandemic that took millions of lives. Obama had the US military build a hospital within weeks in W. Africa where Ebola patients were treated. The US military is the only military that can build a standard hospital within weeks but the commander in chief must be intelligent enough to give the order. They contained Ebola & the US lost one person who travelled in from West Africa & died in Emory Hospital, Atlanta. Trump closed the offices of global pandemic Obama set up in 18 countries after Ebola that had intelligence & public health staff & would have notified the feds once COVID19 broke out in Wuhan as the Chinese were covering it up!

Even in a globally consequential US election so close that a small town population in the right swing state would have handed Hillary the electoral college victory, there were no riots. Dems went back to the drawing board & regained power with the help of disenfranchised Lincoln Group GOPs & motivated Millennials & black voters! That is democracy! Many know that Al Gore won the popular votes against George W Bush but lost by a few votes in Florida! It was that close. After Trump lost his re-election bid, his Maga folks carried out the January 6th invasion of the US capitol, the closest the US ever got to a coup. Trump tried to bully the VP, Mark Pence into not certifying a US presidential election as required by law. Pence knew better & certified Biden’s victory. Many of January 6 invaders are now in jail.

Elections have consequences so please get your PVC, vote the candidate of your choice (not one that paid for your votes). If you sell your vote even at N1m which I doubt they will pay, it comes to N340 per day for 8 years which cannot buy a bowl of rice for a family of 4! Those are some of the objective points some illiterate aggressive supporters should be making online & in 774 counties. At N10,000 for your PVC, you sold your 8 years for less than N10 per day! You will suffer the consequences for years!

  5. Sometimes I just think. Like shouldn’t atiku and tinubu know by now that Nigerians don’t want them ? Who are those that are REALLY deceiving them, that they can win when it’s obvious that majority don’t want them. Somebody pls tell them to stop wasting money by campaigning or whatever because their loss is inevitable.
