  2. I don't think there is any ooo. I don't used to like Okro soup while growing up but I later found love eating it after I ate one that was nicely prepared.

Ever since then, I haven't stopped eating it.

  7. Fried rice or any rice with too much of those carrots and vegetables. They irritate the hell out of me. I can't put a spoonful of rice in my mouth and be chewing for 10 minutes as if I am chewing meat.

    2. Funny enough it’s one of the two ways I can ever eat carrot as a fruit, either this or secondly, blended together with green pepper then used to prepare stew..

Prefer the second option more cos the taste of the stew is wooow, and that’s how we prepare ours..

Ironically, given the fact that I dnt live alone, I still have to make soup at least once a week.

  21. AMALA.
Made me vomit, years ago. Tried it again, felt like vomiting, did not force it down.
All my siblings we all vomited at that time our parents tried to introduce amala into our diet when austerity arrived, it was only my parents that were able to tolerate it and they liked it, all the rest of us stuck with eba, as yam became too costly then to dey pound yam every day Funny enough my late Mom could never eat eba.
Fast forward to decades later, my nephew cannot stand it, his wife is Yoruba, he uses style to dodge the food.
My own child, I made him elubo a few years ago without telling him what it was, as soon as he began eating it, he vomited 1, 2, quick quick.
I just concluded that it is not in our DNA in our family, (except my late parents he he he)
And, I can ro the amala/elubo very well o, others eat it and they are ok.
