CBN Releases Cash For Circulation And Orders Banks To Open On Weekends

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has confirmed the evacuation of banknotes from its vaults to commercial banks across the country as part of a coordinated effort to ease the circulation of banknotes of various denominations.
CBN has also directed all commercial banks to open for operation on Saturdays and Sundays.

    1. It's not funny at all. My son went back to sch today,from ph to ogun state. No cash to give him. We just transferred money to his account. But thank God for me,as a mother i have emergency cash,so gave him 5k from it. Make i go back go try get cash.

  4. I strongly believe the coming week will be a lot better. Was at the ATM with my card and my father's. ATM kept refusing to dispense cash with either of our cards, returning "temporarily unable to dispense cash" but it kept paying others.
    Trust the others at the ATM to display their unruly and frustrated selves.
    Both cards had funds so it had nothing to do with empty accounts.
    I went into the bank eventually and was able to withdraw 50k over the counter which was the max.
    My father and I were able to get 50k each @ S. To. A. N. B. I. C,.

    The new notes have disappeared. Holding 50k after 2months or so

    1. I collected at the ATM close to my house yesterday night. It was like a dream. Glory be to God. Now I can eat like a human being. POS people can now rest also.
