I work in an education centre and payment is monthly for the students. They pay before they're allowed to have classes. So there's this girl that her parents already paid for her classes for the month, but she wasn't attending classes and her parents didn't know.
Parents always call the centre to know their kids' performance and all that. When this girl's parents called, they were told their daughter skipped classes for two weeks
It was later found out that this girl was using her English classes as an excuse to visit her boyfriend. I have just been imagining the scenario in an African home... As an African, what would you do if this girl of 14-15 is your child or relation?
WOW.... All this matter can be scary..... If i was her mum, nah only cry i go cry well well.. If one is not careful, you lose the Childs love and trust, if you encourage them, its also not good.

So this morning I was running late,I got downstairs before I remembered I didn't oil my hair..I hurried back up and brought it out from the closet,place it untop of my dressing table and was about to oil and massage my hair,I didn't know how my hand mistakenly touch the bottle in split of seconds it was on the floor,all content poured out 😲😩 brethrens and sistherns my expensive rich with heavenly smell palm kernel oil is wasted on the floor,I have been in sifia pains since morning 😩😩😩

Please take your mind off it. Start to watch You Tube videos regarding job interviews and how to master them. I did a bad interview about a month ago and the hr lady sat me down and told me some things. I humbly took it in, I still got the job, but I feel like her taking time out to tell me where I messed up was even more valuable than getting the position.

Sometimes, being gentle is not the best. I went to the bank to do some transfers and they gave me a number. We sat outside and for a long time, the queue didnt move. Inshort, it didnt move at all. I was thinking about the office and didnt even know when i stood up and started shouting, asking them why the kept us outside. Before you know, one handsome banker don come out come take me into the banking hall oo. Na so i use less than fifteen minutes there come comot. The others are still there.

That teen is messing with her future because skipping school for two weeks shouldn't even be happening. Why didn't the school notify the parent about the absences. They didn't even call the parent to see if the child had died or was sick..mtsscchhww.

In my church if you follow due process for the classes, it an take about 2-3months: however, it can be less depending on the agreement reached via the couples and the counsellor which is usually in consideration of the scheduled date.
As for teenagers, especially the girls... Hmmm! na God hand e dey to raise them well.
I remember one of the job interviews i attended, early morning oo i went and started licking vitamin c tablets. The orange one. It was like the devil was after me. I like am ooo, two packets. Written interview came, i finished it. While waiting for the oral, belle start to do pum pum. To cut a long story short, i messed up their toilet, while trying to flush, the handle came off (meaning i didnt end up flushing). While thinking of what to do, i started hearing my name being called. It was my turn. I came out of the toilet and because i was rushing, i forgot the key inside. It was jam lock key. I did the oral and left. Few days later, they called me. I refused to go oo. I didnt know if i got the job or if they wanted to arrest me for messing up their toilet. Make them keep their job.

We were five female teens in my house when we where young, 2 went to boarding school while 3 of us schooled from home.
Now I remember how my mom kept hammering words into our heads, if you follow boy and get pregnant your life will spoil , your dreams will go, the boy will move on and you will be stuck with a baby.
My mom is a very social person, she attended lots of social events in her younger days and she always tell us about her relationships and how she moved with boys/men, how she conducted herself and never gave room for certain things.
Sometimes I feel like she over did some things. But I remain grateful to her till tomorrow.
It's not easy raising children, especially girl child, but everybody should try their best. As long as they are willing to, everything will be alright.

DeleteFor 2nd Interview most times are for the decision markers either hiring manager or top level executive
- Ask for the job description (this should be provided at the point of interview) if not ask for it.
- Research about the company, know its vision and mission and marry them to the answers of the question posed to you. Know their core values and how it aligns with your personal goals
- When asked scenario question, use the STAR approach i.e Situation, Task, Action and Results (Google scenario questions related to your job and use that to answer the question)
- Be relax and if you don't get the question, request politely to repeat the question or ask for a few moments to think of the answer.
- Always ask questions at the end of the interview - It shows that you have interest in the role
- If it is virtual, log in at least 10 mins before the time so you can avoid any internet wahala.
- Don't forget to smile as well

DeleteI find it hard to believe, but I am shocked that some Nigerian pastors prefer to act as if they are God's assistants. Personally, I would never allow myself to be caught in such a situation, unless the woman in question is not ready for marriage. In fact, I would even consider leaving the church altogether.
