  2. Invoke His Authority!!
    Philippians 2:9-10.

    Excerpts!!

"All authority in heaven, in the earth, and under the earth is vested in that Name. So, when you affirm your healing and health or anything in the Name of Jesus, you’re invoking His authority."

"Therefore, be confident to use the Name of Jesus, and live every day in, and by, the power of His Name; it’s your heritage. The Name was given to you to use, and to live by."

"Even now, receive strength into you in the Name of Jesus! If you’ve been sick or afflicted, be made whole; be healed in Jesus’ Name! Right away, rejoice and thank Him for healing you, and act accordingly."

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, I thank you for the power in the Name of Jesus and the authority I have to use that Name against the devil, sickness, disease, and the crises of life. I live in health; I'm victorious and I'm sustained by the power and authority of that Name, today and always, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  3. COMMIT TO THE RELATIONSHIP

'For wherever you go, I will go.' Ruth 1:16 NKJV

One of the greatest Scriptures on commitment in the Bible are the words of Ruth to Naomi: 'Please don't tell me to leave you and return home! I will go where you go, I will live where you live; your people will be my people, your God will be my God' (Ruth 1:16 CEV). Why are we afraid to commit to a relationship? (1) Fear of losing control: 'Why forgo my independence?' (2) Fear of lack: 'What if he or she ruins my finances?' (3) Fear of inadequacy: 'What if I can't meet his or her expectations?' (4) Fear of loneliness: 'What if he or she deserts me?' (5) Fear of pain: 'I've been hurt before, and I don't want to be hurt again.'

One relationship commitment is a romantic one. Today, many people opt for a 'common law marriage' but this isn't God's way. Living together without marriage is like renting a room versus buying a house. If a repair is necessary for the rented room, the renter is apt to abandon the room for another. If a repair is necessary for their home, the owners (who should have put much consideration into the purchase) make the required commitment to protect their investment. One study on cohabitation found that nearly 19 per cent of couples who lived together before their engagement had suggested divorce during their marriage. In couples who did not live together first, the figure was just over 10 per cent. Generally, those who move from relationship to relationship don't experience lasting happiness.

God can redeem any relationship, but those who commit themselves to God and to others are much more likely to experience true and lasting happiness.

  12. It happened about an hour ago.

My elder brother woke me up from sleep. Yes, we share the same room and bed.

Well, he woke me up because he heard strange noises outside, in our compound.

He grabbed his torchlight, saying he was going to investigate.

I requested to follow him, but he refused saying if it were robbers that had caused the noise, at least, they won't harm us both. Just him.

He left our room with his torch and I sat, waiting for him in bed.

A few moments later, he returned inside and slid into bed next to me. He replied when I asked, that the noise might have been caused by a cat.

Just a minute later, I heard tapping at our bedroom window and from outside, I heard my brother's voice, saying, "Desmond, can you open the door for me? I don't know why you locked it after I went out."

  24. So many years ago in my primary school, our English Language teacher taught us Words and Opposite in Primary 4. The second day he came for another lesson. He said, "Yesterday I taught you Words and Opposite. Now what is the opposite of 'GO?'"None of us answered. He became angry. He took out his cane. I panicked, and quickly raised up my hand. All the pupils focused on me, seeing me as a superstar. The teacher then said, "So, it was only Anthony that I taught yesterday? You are all dunces. Anthony, come out. "I sluggishly came out. "Before you answer, take this cane and give each of these dullards two strokes. Wow! Two strokes each for 85 pupils ! Excitedly, I picked up the cane and there I went. Whack! Whack!! Those who offended me took harder and stronger ones. Those who refused to give me banana and groundnut took venomous flogging ! By the time I was through, I was sweating profusely. A lot were wailing uncontrollably. Then the teacher said, "Keep quiet & listen to the brilliant boy. Now tell them the opposite of 'GO'" I raised up my voice, looking askance, and with a shaky voice, said
"The opposite of GO is *I NO GO GO"*The teacher's eyes nearly popped out of the socket! "Whhhhhhaaaaaatttt!!!"
"Claaaasss, take the cane and each of you should give him two!" I quickly summed it 85 x 2 =170 strokes. Na die I dey🀧🀧 I jumped through the window and ran who wan dieπŸ™„Please, don't tell the teacher that I am on this platform oooooh ! In case my teacher still dey look 4 meπŸ˜œπŸƒcopied

  28. Pedophile are claiming to be marginalized, now identify as MAP's - Minor Attractive Persons..

    #Keep Your Kids Safe Fam

This has been my argument when gay became legalized, there are other people that can argue that they were born with some traits we categories as crime in them.

Look at R.kelly, he has always been attracted to kids right? What about one 'born again' aunty back then in festac that was molesting all the young boys and girls in the environment but was refusing advances from matured guys, until one young child casted her, na so investigation start, only to find out she do that with other kids too, some people are psychopath, they have always done evil, they kill for fun, they can claim to also be born that way right? What about rapist? I have said it here before that on my way to uyo in 2014, I met a girl who told me she enjoys being forced to have sex, Asin she enjoys being beaten and then banged while crying, that's the only way it's fun for her, I don't understand how a guy still maintain erection when he knows a girl isn't turned on or interested, not to talk of forcing himself on her.. but there are guys that have been called out for raping lots of girls, these people can claim to have also been born that way right?

My point is, what makes us humans and a 'higher animal' is for us to be able to control some kinda impulse that might not look normal or that looks like something that'll destroy the world in the long run..

Legalising it cos we want to be a woke generation that understand people would make things worse, cos you can't legalise one 'wrong' and stop, other people with their own 'wrongs' would feel marginalised and also ask that that theirs too should be legalized, what would you do then??

That's why I prefer the african way of bringing up a child. Although out parents over react sometimes, but they make sure to inculcate good morals and behaviours in us at a very young age. May God help every parent to carry out their duties because it's not easy.

  38. Reno Omokri gives the go ahead to Nigerians to fact check him on you-know-what and talks up a storm whilst at it in favor of democracy

Fact check me-Nigeria's defence budget is larger than the defence budgets of every other ECOWAS state combined. Our military personnel are more than the military of all fourteen other ECOWAS nations combined. ECOWAS has a combined annual Gross Domestic Product of $760 billion. Nigeria generates almost $500 billion of that amount, or 63%.

So, while we fervently, strenuously, and consistently pray against war, that does not mean Nigeria should be a pushover, or be afraid of using its military-industrial complex to advance the cause of democracy and the rule of law. We have a vested interest in what happens in next-door Niger Republic, the way Russia has a vested interest in what happens in Ukraine and America in Cuba.

Gone are the days when President Obama would destabilise Libya and then hand off and leave Nigeria to bear the consequences in the form of Boko Haram, which were essentially a spillover effect of the Libyan crisis.

Political instability in the Sahel will not be the direct burden of France, NATO or Russia. Libya and Chad, which share a border with Niger, are somewhat in a crisis. Algeria is dead set against opening its borders to non-Arab, and non-Amazigh persons. Mali is facing hydra-headed issues, including a power struggle, an Islamist insurgency, and a population growth rate higher than her GDP growth rate.

Therefore, if there is political and economic instability in Niger, the influx of refugees and migrants will naturally be to Nigeria.

And that is why it is in Nigeria's interests to reestablish the rule of law in Niger. Either that or we build a Trump-style wall between us and them.

Singapore is perhaps the least mineral-resourced nation on Earth. Yet, she has the world's strongest passport, according to the Henley Index, and one of the highest per capita incomes in the world at almost $90,000. And the reason is that Singapore has an unassailable commitment to the rule of law.

The above means intervening to reestablish the rule of law in Niger might be the better option than building a wall.

And for those who are thinking that this is a Western imperialist action, please give Nigeria some credit. We have come of age. We know our right from our left. And we can pursue our own agenda and asset our own interests. And Russia is not the saviour here. Neither is the US or NATO. Nigeria is the Black saviour!

  41. FFK reacts to nauseating video clips of Nigerien, Burkinabe and Malian soldiers marching and chanting war songs against Nigeria in a "wake not our sleeping sword lightly" epistle

WAKE NOT OUR SLEEPING SWORD LIGHTLY

Over the last two days my Whatsssap has been flooded & phone inundated with an overwhelming number of vexatious, malevolent, irritating & nauseating video clips of Nigerien, Burkinabe and Malian soldiers marching & chanting war songs against our great country Nigeria whilst being applauded & egged on by ecstatic French-speaking crowds who are reigning curses on our beloved homeland & our President & burning our flag.

Surely even the most unpatriotic Nigerians find it hard to stomach this impudent affront from a bunch of wild and excitable protesters that are little better than slavish monkeys, camel jockeys & desert rats.

Yet let me try to be civil in this piece & contain my rage.

I am glad to take note of the fact that one of our most highly respected former Heads of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar and one of our most reverred traditional rulers and Royal Fathers, His Eminence, Sultan Sa'ad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto, have been asked by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and ECOWAS to act as peace envoys to our troubled neighbour Niger Republic, in an attempt to bring an end to the impasse that has been brought about by the removal from power and abduction of their democratically-elected President and the imposition of military rule.

I have little doubt this noble initiative will result in a peaceful resolution of the crisis and this is clearly the hope and aspiration of millions of Nigerians, particularly from the North, who have strong ethnic, religious, historical, cultural and family ties with the Niger Republic.

Yet despite our overriding desire and overwhelming preference for peace and given the unprecedented sabre-rattling that we have heard and threats we have received from two of our other neighbours in the West African sub-region, namely Burkina Faso and Mali, the following needs to be stated.

Before provoking our nation into armed conflict and threatening us with war our traducers should know the following.

We are a peace-loving people who are kind, compassionate, hard-working & accommodating.

We do not seek conflict or war with our neighbours & neither do we relish in violence or bloodshed but if it is forced upon us we shall not shy away from it.

That is the Nigerian way: we never throw the first punch but we always throw the last.

Our traducers should also consider the following.

The size of the economy & GDP of all the countries in Africa ruled by military dictators PUT TOGETHER, including Mali, Burkina Faso, Chad, Sudan, Guinea & Niger Republic are nowhere near that of Lagos state ALONE.

Again in terms of IGR (internally generated revenue) Lagos state ALONE can comfortably fit them in her pocket ALL PUT TOGETHER without feeling it or batting an eyelid.

They forget that Lagos is just one of 36 states in our country & that the population of our entire nation, which is close to 220 million, is almost double ALL OF THEIRS PUT TOGETHER.

When you threaten great Nigeria with war please bear these things in mind & remember that historically we are the country that, by sending in our troops, delivered & liberated Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guniea Bissau and Chad from civil war, fratricidal butchery, coup d'etat's and mayhem.

    1. Again we are the country that sent massive amounts of resources, material support & treasure to Angola, Mozambique & Namibia during their bitter struggles, civil wars & wars against colonial & neo-colonial oppression.

Finally we are the country that, together with Libya & Cuba funded the Mandela-led ANC of South Africa, the Mugabe-led ZANU of Zimbabwe & the Nkomo-led ZAPU of Zimbabwe respectively in their bloody armed struggle & brutal guerrila war against the white Boer supremacists & their apartheid Governments in their respective countries.

These are just some of the things that Nigeria has achieved in the past and, if properly led, organised & restored, can & will do all over again.

    2. ... Our traducers also forget that we are the only country on the African continent that fought a brutal civil war in which over 3 million people were killed and not only managed to survive it but also chose to remain together as one.

They forget that we are a country that have almost singlehandedly confronted and contained the two most deadly terrorist organisations and armies in the world, ISWAP and Boko Haram, and a separatist movement known as IPOB with its own fledgling terrorist army known as the ESN and yet we still stand undeterred and strong.

Such is the courage, strength, resilience, fighting spirit, foresight, fortitude and sense of patriotism of the Nigerian.

Before you threaten us with war think twice, study our history and learn about who we are and what we are capable of doing.

As Shakespeare wrote, "wake not our sleeping sword lightly" and know that we are "slow to anger but irresistable in battle".

This is my candid advice to the young, wild, brash and obviously naive young turks and military dictators of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger Republic.

Great Nigeria will never bow or yield.

Be warned and run to the peace table. A word is enough for the wise.

  44. Good morning beautiful people. So about the salt thing I posted last time, I'm for bringing it up again, I hardly have time these days. Mek una no vez biko

Salt can actually be used for alot of things. For me, I always liken it to water; E no get enemy, pure, odourless but tasty.

So apart from the usual salt scrub which glows the skin, you can also use it to attract positivity. Back then in Naija, we use it for prayers in my church and it works for some of us. Sometimes, when we pray, we go extra mile and also be practical

During the Ebola virus era, some people drank it and died. You don't drink salt like that na. I follow drink sha, courtesy of big sis. She woke us all up in the middle of the night to drink and bath with salt, even her hubby wey be docky collect, he wasn't spared. He couldn't talk her out of it, he just 'simped' and corporated for peace to reign

It can be used to foresee danger, evil and to wave off negativity. I remembered this because my friend here has been experiencing ill lucks and someone advised she uses salt before going about her daily duties. I silently 'tualed' for the adviser, but the thing is, it worked for her. I think sey these kind things no dey happen for obodo oyibo oh

Business owners uses it in their shops and come to testify in church. People wey dey enter problem every week day, use am and it worked for 'some' of them.

Those that want to glow and you don't have money to go to spa. You can buy #50 salt and it will last you for weeks. And you will glow wella
Hey, this babe want to awaken the local girl oh.

P.S: It's for people with clean hands oh. No go commit evil begin look for salt, e no go work

Have a splendid week ahead πŸ₯°
