Saw a thread online, criticizing marriage vows, i.e "for better for worse, in sickness and in health...." etc, claiming we are speaking negativity into our marriages. LoL
ReplyDeleteIn any marriage set up in the world, you'd have sound health, sickness, season of abundance, time of lack, challenges, good times, bad times, and ultimately, one or both, will die!!
What those vows are implying, is that there's no PERFECT marriage anywhere. Challenges will arise. Good times will abound! You MUST be prepared to accept each of these, as they come. It is absolute folly, to assume that only GOOD things will happen in a home, without challenges. It is this mindset some people have, that when a little setback happens in their marriages, they become stranded and want to exit because they were not prepared for it.
It's like saying, "I will never die". Lol. Whether you like it or yes, we will all die, as long as dis world nor end.
In a nutshell, those marital vows are not implying NEGATIVITY, but letting couples know the REALITIES that exist in marriage. There's always going to be sweet and sour. How prepared are you for both sides of the coin?

ReplyDeleteI just say make I remind you that it's not a must you wear turkey or USA clothes for Christmas, there are very clean okrika that you'll wear and people go dey envy you, besides it'll be hard to see it on another person ,it hardly comes in twos unlike turkey wears,I hope with these few points of mine you'll agree to contact me for your correct okrika wears if you're around osogbo and environs. Less hate, drama and toxicity from the public.
It helps you gain inner-peace and genuine happiness without seeking for validation
When you're private, people don't know how and when to attack you,so you keep haters confused.
Other people can trust you more especially with their personal lives.
You don't have to depend on others to be happy.
It saves you from mental health problems
You prioritize your happiness and self-growth more which makes life more beautiful.
People can not use your weaknesses against you.
