ReplyDeleteThey are Muslims and Islam permits polygamy, so the first wife won't or shouldn't feel somehow as it is part of the tenets of the religion she is a devotee.

Only 5% of Saudi Arabian adults (the headquarters of Islam) practice polygamy and it’s even uncommon in the largest Muslim country, Indonesia where extramarital affair has a jail term. Religion is just a tool for acting anyhow in Nigeria. Steal goverment money, no problem but cut the arm of someone for stealing a cow! So as couples like Tobi and Anu Bakre love each other now one woman will join them in 10 years time and they will use religion. SMH. Check Saudi Arabia, even Qatar and UAE. Are Nigerians the only ones with Islam?
DeleteReally? That is the only thing they consistently refer to in the Quran, willingly pretending to be oblivious of the total conditions attached to the so called polygamy. Polygamy is a choice and NOT COMPULSORY. People should take responsibility for their cheating and adulterous tendencies ,not hiding under Islam as the cover for their actions. People keep dishing out what they cannot take. Those low lives that agree to be second wives never pray/agree for the man to marry another once the enter .The quran is immediately forgotten at that point.
