Lecturer wan trend
ReplyDeleteNigeria!!! Dating your student is inappropriate as there is conflict of interest. Every profession has its ethics and teaching is not excluded! It's unbelievable that a man would publicly announce that he has been secretly doing something unethical.
DeleteThere’s no conflict of interest and the student is an adult.Secondly, it didn’t state that he lectures in any of the classes she takes and if he does, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it.
DeleteAnon 12:36 is right. It is 100% conflict of interest if you are abroad and I believe it should also be in Nigeria. Even if she leaves her script blank, will he give her an F? Will she not have access to information other students will not have by being in a relationship with her? Even if the school is lawless, the least they could have done is wait for her to graduate out of his class.
DeleteCongratulations to them
ReplyDeleteA foolish man publicizing his foolishness
ReplyDeleteInsults, insults and insults.i swear down,we can actually make valid points without insults.
DeleteHow is he a foolish man?your comment is a reflection who you are.very foolish
DeleteThis is so romantic. Congratulations to them
ReplyDeleteCongratulations
ReplyDelete🙄 *long hiss*
ReplyDeleteEverything for social media.
So you think it's the lecturer or the girl that put it on SM? Mtcheeeeeeeewwwwwww
DeleteHe knew people would definitely take pictures/videos and upload that was why he proposed publicly.
DeleteSandra, if you don't have a boo, biko you're not the only one. I don't have too but don't allow people's joy turn you to a bitter woman. The other post you reacted harshly and now this. please stop.
DeleteSome people are so sad and alone that the thought of other people being happy irks their soul.Sandra take two teaspoons of honey 3 times a day for 90 days
DeleteCongratulations❤❤
ReplyDeletebig congratulations to you both.
ReplyDeleteDem soppos sack am. Relationships between lecturers and students is not allowed. Very unethical.
ReplyDeleteSays who?
DeleteFor where? My HOD married a girl from our department
DeleteSays who? Them don dey marry since inception of education.
DeleteOnly in Nigeria
Delete@olori, which other country do you know or have been to, apart from nigeria? Hian!
DeleteNa wa o, see rules and regulations untop love matter. Nobody should tell anybody where to find love so long as they are both adults.
DeleteAll these people supporting this will claim to be "educated". Trying to shame someone that they don't have a boo instead of using your data to educate yourself before commenting? Ignorance is bad abeg.
DeleteHe is setting himself up to face disciplinary measures, if this is true. This is a clear conflict of interest. #Ethics.
ReplyDeleteHopefully it is not the case.
And for those who may want to come for me, i am speaking as a corporate governance professional.
Kai I remember Ethics and Jurisprudence in Maid,GST 102 or 104.You must pass am o.
DeleteWhen I was in school our then hod married one of our course mate, so many lecturers marrying students
DeleteDon’t mind all these educated illiterates.conflict of interest ko ijakadi of interest ni
DeleteThat your HOD did it doesn't make it right. Which kind University did you people attend? Na wa
DeleteCongratulations
ReplyDeleteCongratulations 💐
ReplyDeletemy state university. i hope this guy is a lecturer and its true. is it ethical?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to them
ReplyDeleteHer course mates will seriously tease her.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing to tease here, its a common thing for lecturer to marry his student. Where do you expect them to find love? The same environment. Are other professional not marrying themselves? So, wont a lecturer?
DeleteThey will all want to be her friend cos of free marks
DeleteVery disappointing
ReplyDeleteIn your life and your non achievements
DeleteWhat is disappointing in this two adults marrying themselves. They didn't even commit incest and all those abominable act so what is disappointing in people finding love in the environment where they find themselves everyday?
DeleteI hope she has a strong heart that can withstand any form of cheating
ReplyDeleteNormal mechanic, electrician etc cheat everyday, so forget it.
DeleteIf he is not her direct lecturer, I mean if he is in another faculty then there is nothing unethical about it. Just two adults falling in love and wanting to make it permanent.
ReplyDeleteEven if he's her direct lecturer, what's bad there? Is the girl not an adult? And it's not that she was forced
DeleteIn western countries, it's against their ethical code to date your student, patient etc except you leave that position first because there's possibility of coercion.
DeleteSo Lecturer can Marry Student?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to them
Congratulations to them.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations
ReplyDeleteLovely
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to them
Congratulations to them.
ReplyDeleteOne of my lecturer in school married one of my coursemate.
ReplyDeleteThey are conflicts of interest to consider and this, if his school or field is a serious one, could be damaging to his career prospects.
ReplyDeleteWole Soyinka taught his current wife. He was interested in her but opted not to even approach her at all till she had graduated years after passing out from the class he taught. Doctors don't approach patients till they have been fully discharged from their service. As a GP, unless you quit your practice, this is near impossible. Doctors who go ahead and take such a risk may be open to being in trouble if they are sued later by another patient for being anything other than unprofessional. That error in judgement could signify to a judge, jury or panel, that they are flexible with boundaries: if he pursued patient x, why not patient y also?
I hope he is well advised going forward.
