Put wetin aside? I'm not Yoruba but speaking it is so fulfilling. I believe it's the same with other languages. That you can't speak it shouldn't make it an issue.
ReplyDeleteYou dey mind her
DeleteYoruba that you'll speak on many counters, services go change immediately.
DeleteAnd if you tied scarf, they'll add Welcome Ma, e Pele ma, carry your handbag climb step for you.👌
I pity people who can't speak many languages.
It's a virtual handicap.
I'm off duty because of funeral rites of the SEC boss Chief Bimbo, they think I'm Yoruba and my boss is Spanish o.
The whole world is watching live tributes.
Coming from someone who supposedly makes a living starring in Yoruba movies
ReplyDeleteI'm embarrassed on her behalf.
DeleteA Spanish or Indian lady mustn't see this.
Yuck!🤯
You Dey mind her, if you check now, maybe her Yoruba bobo don serve her breakfast, if not, someone that acts in Yoruba movies is talking in the rubbish and in the nonsense 🤣🤣🤣🤣
DeleteTo think she is even fluent in Yoruba, what about those who can't speak at all?
ReplyDeleteOur native languages should be our first tongue till 5 years before English in my opinion.

ReplyDeleteRubbishing same language you speak fluently.
I love speaking my bini dialect na you sabi
ReplyDeleteAdunni pls stop. Let's try and speak and teach our children our mother tongue. Our mother tongue is gradually going to extinct. Everyone wants to speak English. I'm an Urhobo and I regret not being able to speak it because I grew up in Warri and we speak pidgin there. So each time I travel outside Delta state and I see people speaking my language I feel bad because my parents never spoke our language to us.
ReplyDeleteEnglish is not the first language we know in Nigeria that first, is a flaw on your intelligence. We were never native English speakers so why should we adopt someone else's language? Are you saying English is a more superior language? Whatever your reasons are it is completely invalid to say we recommend such to a country that has its own languages.
