ReplyDeleteAll I understand in all of these is that, this guy still loves this girl but him no believe say the thing go end this way. Deep down e go be like, it shouldn't have happened this way. I understand that feelings when a little rift that should have been settled but for pride, it escalated and the damages made it difficult to reconcile any longer.
Pride kills relationships and marriages. There are people whom we ignore but genuinely deep in hearts we love them .. but we dont want to first initiate the move cos the society and friends told us to wait to hear from them first .
Love and pride wont live in the same line.

DeleteIn my own opinion, bride price consist of everything on that list, price can be pecuniary or in items,. If he didn't bring those stuff, he wouldn't have been given the wife to marry..
Those stuff are different from wedding expenses, after all, those yams, goat etc are not killed or cooked to serve guest..
That returning of just the money only is a fraudulent act..
Infact let a man sue on this and publicise it, many lawyers would do the case pro bono, let a law be established on this issue abeg,. It's becoming insulting..
