Dear Nigerians in Diaspora, this is specially for you!....

  1. After applying, you still have to travel to one of the three states to capture so I don’t know what difference it makes. They’re touting it like the whole process can be done from home like the American passport process.

    3. They also claim it takes 2 weeks, ours took months and didn't even arrive at the same time, after traveling to the state to capture.

  2. Just like the NIMC app....
You've already done the capturing for NIN and God help you you need to make amendment to your bio-data information, even after paying into the TSA you'd still need to go to a state branch or local government to get it done. To what use is the purported online service or app?

If Nigeria is ever going to be good, the civil service will be a pointer to that effect. Anything that takes you to any of these government agencies is corruption in lieu. And that's the reason why you won't get 100% online registration regarding any official document in any government agency.

One thing INEC got right was 100% online voter biometric update. I did mine in the comfort of my room and it came out with the update without any need to visit any INEC office. Whether many got their cards was another issue entirely.

We did, BVN, Voter's Card, NIN, International passport, Drivers licence, registered mobile SIMs with their respective networks, etc. All done with biometric capturing, yet at every given instance we are asked to come for a new capturing in 2024. Why can't government reconcile our information they are holding in truth. Not with the prevalence of high-end-tech in almost every aspect of human life and works at the touch of a button, we are still working in the 80's civilization?

Completely digitise every aspect of government revenue processes, and watch many people doing right and corruption gradually being suffocated in government parastatals.

Concerning this NIS own, a friend did renewal online and she was still asked to come to their office, when all they need do is have a means to do online face capturing. The other data is already with them, or has our thumbs and finger prints changed? Instead of using new technology to validate the eyes in comparison to what they already have. Knowing 9ja for who we are, the system will still be compromised. Abi no be here we dey wey Bevas no fit upload election data result from the polling units after spending millions and bilions? We are truly a blessed nation.
