  1. One of the surest ways to sink into depression, is to compare your life with others, and try to compete with them.
If you do this, you will NEVER be happy.
Na only you know how you make your money. You nor know how your friends make their own. Buy what you can afford, and shun what you can't afford. There's no shame in living according to your means. Because if e red for you tomorrow, those wey you dey compete with, go use mockery kee you!
Sit down, count your blessings one by one, you'll be surprised, that you are actually doing much better than you thought.
Be HAPPY and CONTENT with what you have.
    Have an amazing week y'all..❤️..

  3. Growing By The Word!!
    1 Peter 2:2.

"As we grow in the Lord and become more aware of His Kingdom which we're a part of, we learn to apply more of all that He’s granted us. It’s very much like raising kids; though they're heirs of whatever their parents own, they can’t enjoy some of those things until they attain a certain age or level of maturity. That's the way it is in the Gospel."

“The blessings are activated by your words—your confessions—which must be based on God’s Word and not on sensory perceptions."

    Prayer!!

Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for all you’ve made available to me in Christ and for giving me your Word to live by. As I yield myself to the tutelage of your Word, more grace is released to me and I experience supernatural progress, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  4. THE POWER OF CONSTANT PRAYER

Prayer is a powerful tool that is a weapon of mass destruction to the kingdom of darkness, an addict of prayer is an addict of victory. Whoever prays constantly wins often. In battle, determination is one of the tools that acts as a catalyst to victory.
Determination fuels and urshers you in freedom.

God himself knows how6 powerful a tool it is, that is why he admonished us to pray without ceasing in 1thess 5:17

Prayer is not limited only to be done in the church or house, you are to do that anywhere. 1tim 2:8
Pray anywhere you are and all the time, because you never can tell what is going to happen within the next minute.

You are a soldier be prepared for combat before your enemy finishes you.

Wake up and pray now,or cry later.

  8. HONOUR GOD TODAY

'The fourth is like the Son of God.' Daniel 3:25 NKJV

There comes a time when we have to face our fears and take a stand for what we know is right. That's what Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego did. They risked their lives when they refused to bow to King Nebuchadnezzar's idol. They could have rationalised, 'I'll bow on the outside, but not on the inside,' or 'I'll just pretend the idol is Jehovah.' But they took a stand for what is right, and it set the stage for miracles. 'Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished...saying to his counsellors, "Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?" They answered and said to the king, "True, O king." "Look!" he answered, "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God"' (Daniel 3:24-25 NKJV).

When you place yourself in a defenceless position, it sets the stage for God to show up. But if Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego had bowed to the idol:
    (1) they would not have received promotions;
    (2) the Jewish people would not have gained protected status within the Babylonian kingdom;
    (3) idol worship would have continued in Babylon; and
    (4) Nebuchadnezzar would not have experienced a life-changing encounter with God. 'Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, "Blessed be the God...who sent his angel and delivered his servants who trusted in him...there is no other God who can deliver like this." Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego in the province of Babylon' (Daniel 3:28-30 NKJV).

By honouring God, you position yourself for him to bless and honour you.

May the Lord God Almighty show up for you in uncommon places to drive every sea (and everything that stands like one) away from your path and make every mountain-like challengews skip from your presence to give way for lasting testimonies…

No matter where you go this week, journey of no return is not your portion…

  21. You know days when the whole house is empty and foodstuff completely finished? You open the fridge to see only water, you look up and down, everything has finished. This was my house last week. I woke up around 12am on Wednesday to eat bread and water cos I knew it was going to be a long night. But by Thursday evening till now, there is now 'hold up' in the fridge that was completely empty. As in, no space to put stuff both in the fridge and around the store. Like the blind man was asked, how did you receive your sight and he answered, all I know is, I was blind, and now I can see. For me, all I know is, I was hungry without food, and now I have in abundance. So this is the divine provision people talk about? It's overwhelming πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

They did so well ahann.Read some comments on the page after I was done watching and you could just feel the emotional charge in the atmosphere, with people bringing up their personal stories of what emotions the movie elicited from them and talking about how they could relate, it gave me the vibes I used to get from watching Jim Iyke and Rita D's movies those days. 24. A man married his heartthrob. After almost 10 years in the marriage the wife became an Oil tycoon. She runs a thriving business that takes her to almost every part of the world. The husband, still scraping by.
The woman loved her hubby. He drives her everywhere and she seeks out his opinion on almost all matters. Jolly fellows. The husband has 5 out of the 9 cars on the fleet. With the least being a 2012 Prado jeep. Big boy. His wife takes care of him.

Okay, the meat of the story!! The man was with his friends at a regular hangout and the conversation that ensued is both hilarious and a huge lesson:

Friend: "You! I am sorry for you. Your wife has used your destiny. She's so rich whilst you're merely scraping by. Doing fake big boy. We all know your wife is the source of all your bigboyism. Oloshi!! You better think twice. Snatch your destiny away from her before she will finish you !

Husband: "Thanks for the advice. You see, let me tell you something you don't know o. I am 45 years old now and my marriage is just 10years old and for 35 years as a bachelor, I didn't know how to use my destiny. I was suffering, no clothes, no car, couldn't afford a good accommodation. Even to eat na wahala! Now I got married 10 years ago to my wife and she knows how to use my destiny. Now I drive the latest cars and travel with her to any part of the world that even you my friends whose destinies are not been used haven't been to before.
If her usage of my destiny has given me joy, rest/ peace of mind and great comfort like this, then I am going home right now to inform my wife to continue using my destiny o. Infact! She must make sure she finish the destiny. It must not remain o...

People will hear you talk about struggling with mental pain and they will say " You can do anything if you put your mind to it". And it begs the question, which part of the body does mental pain affect? Your guess is right. Yes, the "mind" is the problem.
Mental pain is less considerable than physical pain but it is more common and also harder to bear. The frequent attempt to conceal mental pain increase the burden. We all know it is easier to say " my stomach hurts" than to say "My heart is broken". All it takes is to experience one event of being deviously betrayed and bamboozled in your life to completely change the trajectory of your interactions with any human being forever. If you knew how hard it was and how long it took some people to get their mental health, peace and happiness back. You will know why they shut their doors at the slightest sniff of toxicity. I don't think people realize how much strength it takes to pull your own self out of a dark place mentally. And why they're overly selective about who they let into their lives. All of this because everyone turns out exactly how they promised they never would. Sad πŸ˜”. Nevertheless, no one will fully understand the internal battles people had to endure just to heal, just to grow, just to make it here today.

Be proud of the way you fought to save. Be proud of the way you survived. You were strong enough to get this far. You're strong enough to keep going. Keep going and better days will come. Praying for more strength, more patience and peace of mind for anyone dealing with mental pain.

    Y'all have a productive day ahead 😘😘😘

  32. I applaud that US pastor for rebuking that woman for screaming during worship. I don't understand people who shout and dramatize during church services. What is all that nonsense?
I told the story how during my NYSC days, one woman would harass people in church with her theatrics which included slapping and spitting. The day she crossed path with me, the legion of demons left her as I flung her aside.
Activities in church should be solemn.

By, the way, is Omaha Lay's song 'Holy Ghost fire' suitable in church? I overheard a sister singing it at a church in Jabi. I was just passing by ni o, but had to linger a bit to be sure I heard right.

You see this present economic situation? You can maneuver your way through it. Starting from food to basic bills like light to big ones like house rent and school fees.

Go to local markets and buy your food in bulk, monitor it well to avoid wastage (speaking from experience)

Reduce how you use light, put off the bulbs and other sources of electricity not needed when you are out of the house or during the day time(monitor how the people in your home use light e.g electric kettle, fan, pressing iron and the rest.

Reduce how you buy aso ebi and attend parties

Monitor your gas well, don't leave it for your kids and house-helps to waste

If your rent is too high for your pockets, move to a cheaper apartment

If your kids school fees are too high for you, move them to a cheaper school with good standards, yes there abound many schools with good academic standards and moderate fees. Do your research.

Do all you can to survive in good health.

    I am rooting for youπŸ’ͺπŸ‘πŸ€—

That is how in my daughter's former school, they did not allow the poor girl to rest, always harassing her to buy a laptop for computer class.
Imagine harassing a 10yr old in junior secondary for laptop in this hard economy.
They did not have a standard computer lab with computers to teach the students, they now resorted to harassment. Hubby had even started making plans to divert the money meant for something very important into buying a laptop for her so they would let her rest, before I got this present school.
The former school fees was almost the same thing with this present one that she attends.
This one has a standard computer laboratory and the rest. No harassment here.

If your kids school does not give you peace, remove them from there.

  43. Thank God for the rainy season that set in.
One thing I noticed is that we have more mosquitoes during rainy season, the ones in my kitchen now can kidnap a baby.
I will spray insecticide today, tomorrow, they are back and the insecticide sef is expensive now.

I wanted to buy mosquito repellent to use while in the kitchen but my sister said it contains dangerous chemicals and should be used with caution.
Let me even go on Google and check it out. What is my data for?

    2. Here you go, what a coincidence. Talking about same mosquitoes now. Seems it has a particular place where it dwells. I thought it's during dry season that we have them more, when there is stagnant water and blocked drainage.
Guess you have nets on your windows ?!

  45. Hello my people
    How was your weekend?
So I had been hearing about this Flo app for those trying to conceive and I decided to download it yesterday, to track my ovulation and get other info about TTC.
I started the app, kept scrolling, kept scrolling until I got to the page where they said I should pay 24k for one year or 3k plus for monthly subscription.
I looked well and saw 7days free trial, clicked on it, the next thing they said I should still enter my card details and if I don't want to continue before 7days I should cancel my subscription.
Omo, I just ran away. I don't joke with my card details at all.
What if I am unable to cancel it, we see cases where they will say their Network is bad or down, bla bla bla. They will now be deducting the small money that I am using for business.
Abeg make dem vamoose with their app, I will save and buy ovulation test kit, how much is it sef?πŸ€”

You don't know it is money that they use to run the app? The doctors that will answer your questions and give you tips, they will not collect money abi?
The app is good, someone I know uses it. For the price of ovulation kit, Google can give you an idea.
Baby dust to you and all ttc bvs

If you can afford a full bag of rice at this period, then you are capable of marrying two wives.
