Singer Seun Kuti Says Every Man Should Have Multiple Women...

Controversial Musician Seun Kuti has downplayed monogamy, saying it “doesn’t work” and encouraged men to embrace polygamy, stressing that every man should have multiple women.

He said, “Monogamy doesn’t work. As a powerful man, you must have the support of numerous powerful goddesses. You know, women that are in your life because the ancestors want to put them there. You share with them.”
He added that his late father and Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, had over 100 concubines despite marrying 27 women in one day.

Despite having this mindset and encouraging other men to have multiple women,,Seun Kuti is publicly known to be married to one woman and has not had any scandal about having any sidechics or concubines...

    Polygamy is EVIL & SENSELESS

I wonder the mental frame of women who accept to be second, third, or fourth wife! How do you bring yourself to that state where you open your legs for a man with multiple sex partners (wives and side chicks) and allow him sleep with you unprotected knowing that the man did the same a few hours or days ago with another woman?

Polygamous women should, please, explain their thoughts process and how they cope.

    To polygamous and adulterous men:

How do you joggle multiple sex partners in the face of numerous sexually transmitted diseases? How do you process your thoughts to rest assured that your women are not getting dirty with other useless men outside your home and relationships?

    3. Dear Proudly Foodie,
while I cannot condemn your opinion regarding polygamy either from your generic view or from personal experience. Critiquely inasmuch as your comment raises several valid points, but the language and tone could be refined to promote a more constructive and respectful discussion. To foster a thoughtful and respectful dialogue on the topic from your view point, for those who want to support or disagree with your position. Avoiding judgmental language and ensuring the questions raised by your response are posed in a considerate manner.

I found your choice of words and wording very condemning and derogatory. In all honesty polygamy is a complex and controversial issue, even though I don't agree with it practice. As someone with a first hand experience from families or friends who were born into a polygamous settings. Or who came from one of such, I am curious about the mindset of women who choose to become second, third, or fourth wives. How do they reconcile with the reality of sharing their husband with other women, knowing he engages in intimate relations with multiple partners, including concubines?

It would be insightful to hear from women in polygamous relationships about their thought processes and coping mechanisms.

      To polygamous and adulterous men:

How do you manage multiple sexual relationships in light of the risk of sexually transmitted diseases? How do you trust that your partners remain faithful and that your relationships are not compromised by infidelity?

Stop being emotional. Answer the questions to help me overcome my ignorance.
I am a married man, and proudly so, to one woman.

The senseless ones are people with multiple sex partners.

How do people joggle multiple sex partners considering sexually transmitted diseases?

      Thanks for your comment.

I will work on my approach next time, although I dare say that my provocative methods work just fine.

    6. Are Multiple unmarried heterosexual partners exempted from this polygamy discussion.

Those unmarried women who keep their body eggs in different baskets.

Those unmarried men body testing to get the best.

Are they outside the scope of polygamy.

Here's not a case for polygamy. But are we allowed to be polygamously single, and then turn around to point fingers standing on the shoulders of a monogamous marriage ?

Tomorrow, the politician numbered wife will post or be posted. Some of us will tap and awwwww. But the Actor will post or be posted, and we will tueh. Does money and assured full inheritance change the colour of polygamy?

And lastly, most chronicles on marital reggae and blues on this blog are from monogamously married men and women.

A bad marriage is - whether monogamous or polygamous. The wahala of some monogamous husbands is more than that of 12 co-wives. Just as the trouble of some monogamous wives have wrecked not only their husbands but also the husband's paternal families.
