Dangote Group has accused International Oil Companies (IOCs) operating in the country of deliberately sabotaging Dangote Refinery’s plan to roll out petrol into the market. According to the company, the IOCs are doing this to ensure that the country remains dependent on petrol imports ......

Hmmmmm
ReplyDeleteThat's part of the cabal we talking about. They don't want anything good for the country or poor Massea, May God show them that all powers belong to him alone !
ReplyDeleteAmin o
DeleteIOCs God pass you, your plan for this country will not come to pass.
ReplyDeleteThese IOCs are doing this with the support of our citizens. God will make Dangote to overcome them
ReplyDeleteAmen π
DeleteThe IOC's have Nigerian citizens who are top officials facilitating the sabotage, All for selfish interest.
ReplyDeleteWickedness in high in places. It's in the bible.πππ
ReplyDeleteGod pass them, Lord please intervene
ReplyDeleteWhile there may be elements of the truth in what Dangote is alleging, another even more disturbing issue is that the previous government used Nigeria's future crude production volumes as collateral for the huge loans it was collecting.
ReplyDeleteThis is the reason why the NNPC cannot supply crude to Dangote and will not for the near future. And Nigeria being a member of OPEC cannot just arbitrarily ramp up crude oil production. It must produce within the quota OPEC set.
Quite sad

DeleteDog,
DeleteSharing half baked information is dangerous. Please stop.
Dog, pls stop your misinformation and misjiving on this blog - always writing as if you have full info on all issues while you know nothing. What is the number of barrels of our daily crude oil production did the Buhari pledge for the loan amd for how long? Same pledge was done by this Tinubu regime for another portion of the daily production for the Afriexim loan brokered by UBA. In total, these are below 40% of the current daily production fig of 1.2million barrels. These transactions have nothing to do with the IOCs sabotaging Dangote on the PMS (petrol) roll-out or sale of crude oil to him. The IOCs control the major oil wells (JVs with NNPC) and always have forward contracts of their outputs with global marketers/refineries - sometimes one year ahead. The possible reason the IOCs may be sabotaging Dangote is that Nigeria is a very profitable market and Dangote coming in, means their exploitation of Nigeria/Nigerians is gone for good.
DeleteDangote was well aware of the country's OPEC membership and the international agreements regarding loans that benefited him as per subsidized Forex for his importation business and refinery construction.
DeleteYour analysis is unlikely to be the crux of the story .
I take very grave offense with anyone who cannot be bothered with researching practically basic information spouting whatever they think they can use to discount provable facts.
DeleteFor a great portion of the later tenure of Buhari and even the earlier tenure of Tinubu, how much
did the NNPCL remit to the federation account? Practically nothing! Nigeria earned nothing from crude during the aforementioned period because crude quotas were being used to pay debts!
This is not conjecture nor a play on facts! A simple check will affirm this. NNPCL as a whole agreed to a 4 million barrel supply to the refinery and they haven't met up to 50% of the agreed Volume yet.
Three is a reason why a thing called oil futures exists. I can break it down but I doubt if anyone above who took issue with my earlier post will even understand.
The overall crux of my post is this. No one is duty bound to supply Dangote crude oil. Not so long as he didn't enter any contract for supply with them before now.
Anon. 14:14. Next time, do your home work well before coming at me. Read your post well. You said the IOCs aren't supplying him crude(I know that's true) so how the hell are they sabotaging Dangote when they aren't even supplying him in the first place?
DeleteYou also mentioned forward contracts. But pray tell, don't you think if Dangote had entered into any contract with the IOCs, his first recourse would have been the courts to enforce the contract terms if the IOCs failed?
Dangote cannot present any document backing claims of sabotage because there is none. The IOCs owe him nothing!
I am aghast how you are taking this cheap play on sensationalism by Dangote as gospel.
Oga Dangote please no more excuses do your part you promised July. Which kind long tureci be this fear Allah and do the needful. We have waited enough na. You ma reason am.
