The case isn't between him and Cassie. It's between him and the US government.
He's facing charges of $xx trafficking and kprustitwution that is, forcing women into prolonged knacking activities (#rgies) he called "f-offs".
The ish now is, if he's found guilty, it's life sentence!
So he's literally fighting for his life.
That's why his legal team went for the jugular during Cassie's cross-examination.
It's not him vs Cassie though.
She's just a witness subpoenaed by the government. However, their star witness.
So if he's able to prove that her claims are false, the rest na maimai.
And to be sincere, his lawyers seem to have evened the scores with the way they drilled her in the cross-examination.

Cassie has full immunity, as for Diddy I think many shocking things about him will come out. The feds won't arrest you unless they have a strong case.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Cos all over the internet I see so much misinformation. Cassie is only one of the witnesses, her own is going viral cos she is famous, but there are other witnesses as well. It is not even State vs Diddy, it is a federal crime, hence United States vs Diddy. Cassie was subpoenaed to testify and has to, unless there are strong legal reasons not to. If the court even calls you for jury duty, you have to go, and your employer has to let you have the day off. The highest she can do is plead the fifth, but she cannot perjury herself cos of him.

ReplyDeleteJust to add... Diddy's f/offs were really extreme but in Hollywood, stuffs like that weren't uncommon, just don't have a reason for it to become an issue.
Also, Diddy's team aren't denying or even trying to cover up the violence. All they need to do is prove it was a 'lovers spat' aka domestic violence and he's good. D.V carries a much lesser sentence and besides, she's gotten settlement.

DeleteUnknown for now. It's a federal case and I read they are hoping to pin a child, sex trafficking allegation on him as that alone carries maximum punishment and will basically settle the case for the prosecution. A star witness or witnesses may arise as the case progresses.

DeleteAll I have to say is, young ones, do not make celebrities your god. Idols are not always a statue, sometimes they are the celebrities you idolize. Do not put them first. Do not play their music repeatedly, by doing so you are abiding in their lyrics which are often cursing God and promoting all sorts of promiscuity, drug use and so on - hence, inviting demons into your life. Do not conform to their standards, or follow their lifestyle. That path leads to death, and many souls are already in bondage.
