DiddyGATE Trial . Week 7 Day Three Saw Diddys Lawyers Close Up With A Good Speech

Diddy's lawyers kept it brief but came with some heat.
This part of the cross-examination was to prove that Jane Doe was thirsty!
Several text messages were displayed in the courtroom.
Some of the messages saw her telling Diddy how she was so w#t and h--ny and wanted more of him.

They were full of and emojis.

Mind you, his mom and kids were seated in the courtroom.

She was also texting the ezkorts.

As for Diddy, they argued that the prosecution were using his s-x life to build a case - and there's nothing to show that he conspired with his staff to run a criminal enterprise, which makes a RICO.

They asked 'where's the evidence that Diddy's employees knew they were setting up rooms to commit a crime?'
They said those were just employees doing their jobs for the boss thinking he was having a personal night with his girlfriend.
To further reinforce their argument, they showed receipts where Diddy didn't want his staff to know about his personal stuff.

So how does it count as an organized crime?
If it was one, where is the agreement?
If the employees were co-conspirators, why did Diddy's staff Capricorn try to protect Cassie from Diddy?
Why did Cassie feel the need to talk to the bodyguard (D-Roc) after she was assaulted?

Frankly speaking, the female defense lawyer came through!

She said if he engaged in bribery, everyone spoke and no one mentioned it.
The defense claimed he didn't coerce or force anybody as stated in his charges, they gave an example of a former assistant, Capricorn, willingly quitting her job, after she said she was tired of the working environment.
Only for her to be upset that she wasn't working for him and tried to come back. So where is the force?

The defense brought up Cassie's claim of being held in a hotel for 5 days. They asked for proof that her or anybody else were held against their will.

The defence argued that no one could confirm Diddy's at the house at the time of the arson.

Since there was a female's DNA on the Molotov cocktail (the explosive),
why is Diddy being charged with the crime? They asked.

They said the government failed to prove that Diddy knew he was doing something illegal by flying the women out for frkoffs.
According to the lawyer, in order to be considered a traff--ker, you have to go into it with the intent to traff--k. She referred to relevant legal codes and acts.

Well, the defense argued that she was a jealous girlfriend - that everything was good between them, until she realized there were other girls getting other things.

In essence, her main goal was to get paid.

See, there's nothing like a great legal team.
It's not like Diddy is all-round clean, but his legal representatives make you want to say hmm... But he wasn't that bad afterall.

The Judge didn't decide if he was going to grant Diddy acquittal on this day.
