SUNDAY CHRONICLE POSTER RESPONDS

Read Sunday Chronicle HERE

''Please the guy and I are not dating, even though he was giving a hint of dating, you know how guys can be, we're just plain friends with nothing attached to it
I won't give him shishi because I've noticed that people that are not ashamed to beg opposite gender for money don't see anything wrong in it, they will turn it to their entitlement and will never reciprocate the acts, if I'm broke I call my family members to loan me money and return it immediately I have it, not by begging the opposite gender.
I don't give a damn if he's testing me or not, good luck to any woman that passes his test, even me I also need money but I can't turn myself into beggar especially to the opposite gender because it causes see finish and disrespect''.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm

FROM A POST ON FRIDAY

''Like a testimony a young girl shared in church. She met this guy online and they became friends. she decided to pay him a visit one day.The guy sent a cab to come pick her up from her apartment. But earlier that day, the cab man carried this guy and his friend to a particular location and an argument broke out between them, they argued and almost fought.totally forgot a third party was in their midst and they revealed alot, like... No be me provide the last one wey we use? If na you nko? who dey always dey bring girls before? no be me? Before they realized they were not alone and decided to be quiet.but the cab man pretended not to have heard anything.

One of the guys, picked his phone and called a girl which they sent the cab man to pick up forgetting the fact that he may have heard their previous conversation.

As soon as the cab man picked this girl from her apartment, according to the girl who shared the testimony,he kept looking at her,she became worried and asked, 'Oga why are you looking at me? do you know me somewhere? or is my outfit too revealing? She said,he stopped the car and told her the conversation he heard from those guys he's taking her to and it was too dangerous for her because from their discussion,he could tell they were into the business of organ harvesting. The girl thanked the man and thanked God who used a cab driver to save her life. she decided to stop living as a prostitute.
After her testimony in church, a lot of people decided to render support to her instead of her going back to such horrible trade.''

Things are happening!

I closed late because we had a burial ceremony near my shop, some yahoo bouts parked and wanted to carry her but she shouted and said "you can't use me again ooo" thy kicked their car immediately and zoomed off.
I want to give her new clothes to wear because she is always buying things from me, is it advisable, I always feel for her?

WOMEN ARE SMART WHEN THEY WANNA BE.....

In a toxic relationship, it’s easy for outsiders to look at a woman and think she’s blind, naive, or stupid for staying… but what they don’t realize is, she knows. She knows exactly what’s going on.

She sees the lies, feels the disrespect, and recognizes the patterns. She’s not clueless... she’s calculating. She’s preparing.
Because for a woman, leaving isn’t just about packing a bag or changing a number. It’s about mentally detaching from someone she once envisioned forever with.
It’s about grieving a future that will never happen, untangling herself from emotional manipulation, and re-learning how to choose peace over chaos. That kind of exit takes strength most people will never understand.

She might still cook for him, sleep next to him, smile on the outside while dying inside... but she's already detaching. She’s not staying because she doesn’t know her worth. She’s staying because walking away while you're still emotionally tied is a trap. You’ll keep going back. And she refuses to do that.

So she waits… she heals in silence… and when that mental switch flips and her spirit is numb to his excuses, his charm, and his fake apologies… it’s done. She’s already gone long before she physically walks out. And when she does leave, don’t expect a warning. Don’t expect a tearful goodbye. Don’t expect closure.
Because when a woman finally leaves a toxic relationship from a place of clarity and peace... there’s no turning back.

She doesn’t run, she walks. And she doesn’t just leave the man... she leaves the version of herself that ever tolerated less than she deserved.

  6. OPEN DISCUSSION

A wife asked her husband to drop her off at a friends house, where a wedding reception was taking place. He responded that he would be too busy throughout the day in the office, and gave her some money to use as taxi for transport.
    He left for the office.

The wife took a Taxi to the wedding reception, there she met a fine girl and they got talking to each other. Soon they became friends.

In the evening when everyone was leaving, the Girl asked the Woman how she was going home. She replied that her husband was too busy in the office to pick her up so she would use a taxi. The Girl responded; "My
boyfriend brought me here and would be coming to pick me up. I just spoke to
him on the phone and he's on his way. Why don't you join me in his car and we would drop you at your house.

    The woman agreed.

A few minutes later, her husband's car arrived. The Girl jumped into the front passenger's seat of the car and asked the Woman to sit at the backseat, which she did, confused and
perturbed. Then the Girl introduced her new friend to her boyfriend. When the
man turned around to greet the woman.......ghen ghen......he found out that the woman sitting at the backseat is his wife.
Nothing much was said along the way. The wife also kept her cool.

He dropped the wife at home first as planned and proceeded to drop the Girl at her house.........

    Now, the question:

    1. If you were the woman what will you do when your husband returns home?

    2. If you were the husband, what would you say to your wife when you return home.

Please its an open discussion, we want to learn from your view.

Everywhere will scatter from the moment I see his car cos I will check out the driver. The girl will hop on the next available okada by the time I start the madness.
Well, my man knows me, he won't be that careless if he wants to cheat.. He would ask me for the details of the wedding reception like address of the venue and the name of the celebrants, he will also ask his girlfriend for the same details before deciding whether to show his face there or not.

Arguing with a man is a No for me.
Bickering won't solve anything. Silence is the answer.
If you prefer to shout and cause a scene everywhere, a man will still do what he wants to do.

Shouting, ranting and raving will only make him re-strategize. That's why they say marry a kind man. A kind man wouldn't prioritize another over you. A kind man would not be too busy to pick you up and drop you at your designated destination. You know how to find this kind of men. I'm done.

I did work for someone and he's reluctant to pay me over one week now. Ordinarily, I wouldn't have done that job without commitment. On trust and pleading, I decided to do a job worth 200k. Now, he doesn't want to pay me. He felt he has the money and connections. All what he's looking at is for me to react or say some nasty things and he will justify why he won't give me the money.

I have decided not to call him again. Let him do his wish. Each time I remember or wake up with the thought of him, I feel very bad.

    Mana yadiba.

    10. Anons leave Abionah alone. Why are you people like this?
Do you know if she herself is s#x starved and needs a real Deek to hammer her instead of the bottle she has been using?
Why do you assume she wants a serious relationship with him?
Is she a teenager that you will be advising like this?

      Delete
    11. Stella pls leave them both, don't even interfere. Let them knack if they want to knack. They are not babies. And it is not all knacking that must lead to serious relationship or marriage.
I remember in my single days, I had like two guys I was knacking whenever I wanted, no strings attached. When I met my husband, I let them go. Now married for almost 20yrs and I have never thought of knacking another man, let alone actualise it.
As singles, it is allowed to explore (with caution, don't get a deadly disease).

    1. I won't release our child at this age to his father, male or female.
This is the period your girl child needs you more but if you can't cope due to finances and she would have a better life there, you can but please stay in contact with her and never stop praying for her.

I am just not fine with step moms raising another woman's child although some women can but most women can't

    2. Please keep your daughter with you for the world has gone bonkers.

Protect her now because she is getting into puberty and needs her mother to guide her.

  28. @ anon 14;2 , The open discussion story is better to be watch as movie. To me, I will not discuss it with my husband neither with the lady but I will keep a close watch on my hubby, it's my silence and guilty conscience that will do the justice, though have never experienced marital cheating, but u know those thoughts and feelings u will have when watching it on tv.
@ TEEJAY, I think u can send just a warm reminder to him and if he doesn't, u might remove Ur mind from it till his conscience prick him to pay u and if he doesn't, pls remove Ur mind from the money, it's painful though.
