The 2023 Labour Party Vice-Presidential candidate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, has said that the desperation to remove former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 led to the insecurity ravaging Nigeria today.
Datti Baba-Ahmed on Tuesday, said on Politics Today, a programme on Channels Television.
“I contested with the late former president Muhammadu Buhari in 2011. But ever since he made a security threat comment, I refused to go out with him.
“It didn’t matter if I lost the Senate seat, but I won it eventually. Buhari said, you [will all be] soaked in blood. Kaduna is my state. There was serious violence in Kaduna. Many houses were burnt.
“They went and brought people from neighbouring countries in readiness to remove Jonathan,” he stated.

Why are you just voicing it now. You all know what the problem is in this country but keep pretending. May the monster you all are breeding not come back to consume y'all.
ReplyDeleteImagine the effrontery and they still got away with it. Why are they still holding Nnamdi Kanu when they did worse.
ReplyDeleteMy dear o,
DeleteThe main terrorists are always taking coffee with them.
This is no lie.
ReplyDeleteThe North was ready to burn Nigeria down if Jonathan won, so to speak. They were armed heavily in readiness for chaos. The loose-lipped ones would openly taunt us with what was to come, in the markets, on our way to work, at schools, everywhere. You knew they were ready and you never felt safe.
For those who would say why didn't we leave, remember the north has a large number of Christians. However, a large proportion of Northern Muslims would take a fellow muslim from Chad or Niger Republic over you, a Nigerian who is Christian. It is their religious belief that they must not be ruled by the "Arne" (Unbeliever).
By conceeding defeat, Jonathan actually averted a lot of bloodshed and for that, many of us are grateful.
Arne is not simply an unbeliever. The deep meaning of it is an idolator.
DeleteStupid man, why didn't you reveal all these then . Your silence means you were an accomplice
ReplyDeleteWill you address your own dad or yourself as stupid? 🤦🏾♀️
DeleteIf they fish you out now, you will be crying for help and mercy!
Of course. The hunger for earthly glory is an addiction to them. They will throw the innocent lives of people into a raging fire as long as they get what they want. Now the realization of how low he fell has dawned on him and the spirit of confession has taken a hold of his tongue in a bid to release the guilt he feels.
DeleteCan this man be forthcoming with the truth for once please. They imported terrorists from Niger, Chad, Mali, Algeria and other places just to get at Jonathan and by extension the northern christian communities in the north. President Jonathan outsmarted them all, this gave birth to bandits we are struggling with today.
ReplyDeleteThe worst thing in a country are traitors. Nothing should be so desperate to have that one would turn the people against each other and willingly and desperately desire to see de@th and mayhem to achieve earthly glory. The one who fought hard to get it is de@d and forgotten to all, now merely bones in a hole in the ground, rotted and maggot eaten flesh a body that is of no use to nothing or no one. This is the end of all. Why fight for destruction when none can conquer this life.
ReplyDeleteBuhari, el rufai and all involved......it shall not be well with you all
ReplyDeleteAll the Bujari supporters have all disappeared from this blog.
