I remember during COVID, everyone around me was down with COVID, they were very sick but I was having the symptoms but I wasn't feeling sick probably because I was on arv.
I couldn't smell nor taste anything for several days but I felt fine. My immune response was high and at alert,so I wasn't knocked down by the virus.
Someone mentioned on the blog that some women take arv to have fresh skin, how possible? Why will a negative person take arv? When it's not paracetamol .
The drug like every other drugs has it's own side effects and it shouldn't be abused if you're not positive though I doubt if hospitals can give anyone who does not have the virus.
One thing I notice is that,my leg are not as fat as they used to be before starting arv, and I read fat redistribution is one of the side effects, my legs are now tiny, but aside that I hardly get knocked down by any sickness and I pray never to be.

DeleteFrom a female living with HIV I totally understand you,ARVs sure makes you glow when you live a healthy lifestyle some of us were not lucky in finding partners as they always leave when I disclose my status. But I finally found my soul mate,a Muslim man that ticks almost all the boxes. As a Christian will I want to marry him? I will say yes over and over again,guess what guys he proposed and I said YES. He follows me to my appointments,ensures I eat healthy and take my drugs regularly,God did!!!
