Nigerian Minister Uche Nnaji Admits That UNN Did Not Issue Him A Certificate

Imagine becoming a Minister with forged certificates?

Uche Nnaji, Nigeria’s Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, has admitted in court filings that the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) never issued him a degree certificate.

This revelation confirms findings from a two-year investigation by Premium Times, which concluded that both the degree certificate and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate he submitted to President Bola Tinubu and the Nigerian Senate were forgeries

In a suit filed by Nnaji at the Federal High Court in Abuja, he sought to prevent UNN from “tampering” with his academic records and requested the release of his transcript.
In the affidavit, he stated that although he was admitted in 1981 and allegedly graduated in 1985, he never received a certificate from UNN.

    1. Sir what you are saying does not add up...Were you rusticated? Did you complete your studies there? Did you pay your complete school fees before graduating? Many unanswered questions...

Who wants to tamper with your results after seeking "Oluwole" certificate....

These people in power are taking us for a ride ..Yet they will say the candidates were cleared by DSS and rubber stamped senate...What a shame!!!

  3. But someone became a President with forged certificates too, he attended a school some years before it was established, all birds of a feather.

  4. What sort of screening do the Senate do for these ministers when they want to pick them? This is a shame.
A friend 's brother used a fake certificate to work in many companies for years. Sometimes they catch him during staff screening and sack him and he moves to another company. The last company where he tried that rubbish, they locked him up and asked him to pay back all the salaries and benefits that he collected for 8 months before they found out. He was there for one week before his family raised the money and paid , they bailed him out and gave him money to start up a business. He stopped working for people with the fake certificate.
Today he is doing well in his business. Thank God that he has a capable and kind family members. Very brilliant guy. My friend said he was rusticated in third year due to a violent demonstration he participated in, he refused to tell them at home and de decided to fake instead.

  7. People need to be held responsible for their rubbish. What a disgrace! No proper structure in place to vet these their yamayama certificates before giving them positions of authority.
