Chronicle Of A Person Living With A Positive Status

There was a day I went to the clinic for drugs and I met a family of 5, mother and her 4 kids all under 15 , they all came for dr*gs and I was so sad seeing the young children.

I later learnt that the father abandoned them and went to marry another wife even though he's also positive.

I think the wife didn't give birth in a standard hospital , so her status wasn't detected while pregnant with those kids. I don't know how they finally got to find out about their status but it was already late.

The man, ääöarmed with information that he can actually have children without being infected decided to run away to start another life, probably with an unsuspecting lady. Now the woman is left alone with those kids to cater for.
What the husband doesn't know is hiv doesn't mean those children will not be useful or will die, with the drugs, they'll live a near normal life and still fulfil destiny.

One look at the woman, you'll know she's determined to do everything for her children, they all look so well taken care of even though the woman looked a bit worn out probably due to the stress of taking care of 4 kids alone.

Anytime thoughts of her crosses my mind,I always say one or two prayers for her. May God grant her strength and longevity. It's not easy
