A source, who confirmed the incident to Daily Trust on Friday, noted that the school was still compiling its records and will issue an official press statement today.

These groups have become very bold and the government cannot stop them
ReplyDeleteWhat’s that quote again about when terrorism is prolonged ?
There is a pattern to these attacks. When elections are approaching the opposition sponsors numerous attacks to discredit the govt in power - same thing was done to Jonathan. Now may be payback time for APC.
DeleteNigeria is not ripe for democracy at all. That one there will not shift for someone that can handle the situation to step in?
DeleteAnother one in Nasarawa this morning. We are finished
DeleteThe problem is not the quote but it's source that is yet to be stated. Abacha has limited interactions with the press. Why can no one bring out the exact time he said this.
DeleteThese activities are the economic reality of this t3rr0r!sm.
People who do this look for people with value. The same way international interest worsened the case of the Chibok girls and Dapchi boys, making millionaires who promised to build high class fortified schools and offer fantabulous inflated scholarships, Trump's attempt to distract from the Epstein files means the criminals are hopeful this government will start settling to keep the numbers in the news down. They will likely release them in batches and keep some to keep money flowing.
Now that there's USD coming from the source, expect the sinister industry to milk the windfall. Even those who said they will release names of sponsors have kept quiet, positioning for other perks outside political benefit. Does Mr Cruz need full scalp sheets or is it a pen that is lacking? Like Uzodinma, like Cruz.
That's the effect of the Maga school students abduction. It will embolden them the more.
ReplyDeleteWhat's happening to us God...
ReplyDeleteTinubu is what is happening.
DeleteChai what is happening in Nigeria, Nigeria is seriously bleeding.
ReplyDeleteDear God come through for your helpless children
ReplyDeleteEwooooo!!!! God abeg
ReplyDeleteCheiππ God abegoo
ReplyDeleteOh Lord have mercy πππππand save us.
ReplyDeleteAgaaaain? π‘. This has to stop. Government can't say they have no idea who they are, and where they are. Home, School, Church is now unsafe..
ReplyDeleteMy dear, they know dem reach house. Nay thunder and brimstone go fire dem all.
DeleteThey definitely know them, and are the ones funding them. If na to give life sentence to NK, their power will come out in full force.
DeleteWhat?
ReplyDeleteThis is becoming something else
In a country that has different military forces?
How did we get here?
What is happening bikonu, The FG should do something fast, Imagine people's kids, Heiiiπ±
ReplyDeleteThis is getting out of hands
ReplyDeleteThey're daring Trump, they know what they are doing.
ReplyDeleteExactly, this looks like taunting someone by telling them to do their worst.
DeleteThey're indirectly mocking him.
Bastard cowards!!! I wish they can all be struck dead in one vein, despicable sexual predators, why do they keep doing that to young girl??
This is why I kicked against that useless Trump when he opened his mouth saying rubbish about striking terrorists in Nigeria. If he wasn't going to do it right away, why did he announce it?
ReplyDeleteNow every Fulani cell hidden in the thick forests of Nigeria will carry out these kidnappings so as to use them as shields should the US or the Nigerian army strike or bomb them.
You're talking as if we don't have our own army, must our help come from abroad?was it not your own people that condemned him for daring to interfere,he is useless yet you want him to do something
DeleteWhy don't you say that the terrorists want to prove to the world that your inept government is lying. Shey dey say there is no genocide in Nigeria?
DeleteThe hawks are back in again. Middle East business is slow and Ukraine is not a big market for small arms. Africa is ripe and Trump is running from Epstein files. It's like Clinton's scandal once again - I forget now what country he used to divert attention at the time. The same people who plucked Charles Tailor from Calabar are now hyping criminals with tweets since the aim isn't pure and interest isn't selfish. The God who raised Esther and Mordecai, Nehemiah, Daniel and others will arise for his people that those who ask "where is your God" will be ashamed.
DeleteWho would have guessed Trump would be the one to bring the hostages in Gaza home? If he wants to play cheap politics with lives like Brown and other opportunistic schemers, God has 19,000 more at least.
Is president BAT sleeping at night like this?
ReplyDeleteNigeria is on fire π₯
This is not the time to call for prayers, actiot is what is needed.
I wish we could be united as a people and lend our voice in one accord
ReplyDeleteInnalilahi π Ya Allah π€²
ReplyDeleteWhat is happening. No where is safe any longer .
During Goodluck Jonathan’s administration, President Tinubu often relied on rhetoric rather than action. Today, the consequences of that approach are becoming painfully clear. Sending representatives to affected areas is no longer enough to address the deep-seated issues, and the military’s silence in the face of rising insecurity is deeply troubling.
ReplyDeleteThe Nigerian people deserve decisive, transparent leadership. If the President cannot take the necessary steps to restore order and confidence, stepping down may be the only responsible choice to prevent further deterioration of the nation’s stability.
I'm sooooo pissed !!!
ReplyDeleteThis is to muchπ‘
ReplyDeleteLord show Mercy on those girls, speedy divine intervention π
God! Who will come to our aid?
ReplyDeleteTinubu oooooooo
Scary times! π³π³π³
ReplyDeleteGod, please come to our aid.
election is near, all parties must do everything possible to discredit the opposition party. Same thing happen to Goodluck Jonathan and now their reward is waiting for them. The people are the top knows what is happening, they don't want to solve it.
ReplyDeletePoliticians please stop using innocent people to score cheap points. Your generations will suffer untold wickedness, that you're unleashing on Nigerians. πππ
ReplyDeleteIt breaks the heart once again, in less than a week, that school children are now hunted like prey, and we keep waking up to the sad news of the same darkness wearing a new face. Our truth has become too bitter to tell: how does a country survive when classrooms become crime scenes? Government cannot remain reactive. Communities cannot continue grieving in circles. And we, the citizens, cannot reduce every tragedy to political scorekeeping.
ReplyDeleteLike the 2015 Chibok saga, these children are not bargaining chips. They are sons and daughters who left home with books, not fear. With their proud parents hopeful of their well-being. Whoever leads the country carries the burden of restoring order, and leadership must answer for this callous silence, the gaps, the slow responses that make these attacks feel normal.
What again is the price of life in this country? It's now even cheaper than a bag of garri. Still, blaming opponents or weaving conspiracy theories will not bring back safety. What Nigeria needs now is immediate action and a proactive approach, unity, and a government bold enough to confront this rot at its roots. The kidnappings days apart show a pattern, but the danger has moved far beyond politics. It is a wound cutting through all of us.
May those children and staff be found quickly, and may those who hold power finally treat security as duty, not rhetoric.
May God have mercy.
