It appears the ransom was an agreed amount.

It proves the family did not attempt to outsmart the captors.
The call out does not prevent the Police from doing the needful.
And why did he remove any part of the money at all.
If anything happens to the man in captivity, he is the main cause of such by his act of removing a part of the money.

ReplyDeleteThe kidnappers had to speak up before the man family knew huge amount was deducted from the money they gathered. If ransom was to be paid why need Harrison. And why did he deny taking out the cash at first, only to admit when he got to the police station. If he needed any money for logistics why not say so. The victims when released will pay him for his services too. Police should carry out proper investigation because I don’t trust these negotiators, they might know more about those kidnappers.
