Actress Bimbo Akintola Reveals A Man Stalked Her For 9 Years, Called Her 50 Times Daily

Nollywood actress Bimbo Akintola has revealed a frightening chapter of her life when she was stalked by the same man for more than nine years.

In an interview with Chude, she explained that during that time, she received up to 50 phone calls daily and disturbing messages that described what the man wanted to do to her.
She said she kept the ordeal from her family, fearing her mother would panic.

The harassment was relentless, with messages arriving every day or every other day, causing her immense stress and fear.
She revealed that, without explanation, the stalking suddenly stopped one day, leaving her without closure or understanding of why it ended after nearly a decade.

She said: “I had some guy that stalked me for a long time. It was bad. I don’t know how it ended. I just noticed one day that he had stopped sending messages. This was over 9 years. He was stalking me for over 9 years. And he would send me messages about the things that he wanted to do or the things that he would do, it was bad.

“He made me miserable. He would call 50 times a day. He would send messages, graphic, right? How he loved me and how I was it for him and how the things he would do. I never told my parents about it because my mom would have just been panicked. But it was for a long period, constant, every day or every other day.

  2. Stalkers hardly give up. But why didn't she block him everywhere though? 50 missed? It's giving the Ricardo Lopez man who stalked singer Björk. Björk's stalker even went as far as killing himself on finding out Björk had a lover. He even sent her a letter bomb before kpaing himself. Oyinbo people can be crazy

  6. Well, you enjoyed the attention, didn't you? I don't understand how stalking is a problem. It is usually an obsession that goes away after a while.

    1. It's never enjoyed! It's scary, speaking from experience. I had some call me for close to 2 years, the person wouldn't say anything but just be breathing into the phone. I would cuss the person but not a single word from the stalker. It suddenly stopped when I left the country. Sometimes I wonder which of my friend or acquittance was that sick in the head 🤢🤢

  10. I guess he was obsessed with you and got tired of obsessing at some point.

  11. So why didn't you just 1. change your phone number. 2. Track the weirdo and possibly have him arrested and kept away forever inside Yaba left. 3. Block him from re-entering the earth is possible?!! These are questions that needs answers before I believe this story.

Stalking is never fun at least to the one being stalked

    Speaking from experience.

You will pick up a call only to hear someone breathing heavily at the end without saying a word and you drop the call

The weirdo calls back and might give you a one liner, Hey Babe it’s been long

The Scary thing is that when you block their regular no, they will get another one

Not a good experience at all

The creepy thing is that they are also watching you without you knowing it but the good thing is that one day you realize that it’s been long you got that type of call.

  16. My own stalked me for years abroad. I block tire. He will just change numbers. He will call from so many different numbers and when I pick he will start talking like an angel tpretending to be someone else till I catch on and tell him I am married. Oh boy if you see insult. Over here people will go to the police but I did my research and found out that, that annoys them even more! I even found out he had been in prison before.

Best thing I did was just go silent, not pick up numbers I did not know and watch my surroundings always. It did not end till my brother in law picked up the phone and warned the mad man to leave me alone. They are usually only scared or chased away by the presence of another man.
