Seems like ain't shyt going good for a great many people on the planet right now. Humans have fckd shyt up on Earth yet again, which means only one thing, a sweeping correction is loading. From reports from the mother of his child, I'll say Ice Prince is feeding himself but not doing well. Even his son isn't benefitting much.

The thing about addiction to substance abuse, especially that version that comes from injury or an illness that rook so long to heal, is that it needs a lot of love and patience to stop it.
Isolation doesn't help yet public humiliation like public call outs may drive the user even further Iin the habit because they internalize that feeling of condemnation&hopelessness.
