    In the early 1950s, Irwin W. Rosenberg, a junior US naval officer, was discharged from military service after he was diagnosed with cancer - standard military procedure at the time. The loss of his job was quite a blow, but he was determined to get back both his health and his job. With faith and determination, he battled the disease that tried to take over his body. At one point he was given only two weeks to live, but eventually his cancer was brought under control. Irwin then focused his attention on his desire to become a naval officer. He discovered, however, that regulations forbade reinstatement of a person discharged with cancer. Everyone told Irwin, 'Give up. It would take an act of Congress to get you reinstated.' That gave him an idea - he would pursue an act of Congress! After months of knocking on doors and jumping through legal hoops, President Truman signed into law a special bill that allowed Irwin to re-enlist in the navy. Then guess what happened? Irwin W. Rosenberg went on to become a rear admiral in the United States Seventh Fleet!

    The saying goes, 'Where there is a will, there is a way.' When you have a relentless faith, and your will lines up with God's will, all things become possible. 'Do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise' (Hebrews 10:35-36 NKJV).

    The moment I hit submit on my comment, I was low-key expecting the above kind of shade even though it took every fiber of my being to muster up the courage to apply in the first place. Do I regret entering the giveaway? Nope, not one bit. Will I still throw my hat in the ring for future giveaways if the mood strikes me? You bet I will. Whether I win or lose, will it stop me from being a Stella's blog comment MVP? No way, no how! But if it comes, fine!

    If we are BFFs outside this blog, you'd know I'm not just stalking Stella's blog for giveaways...This is my jam, I'm a comment whisperer, and people outside this blog can vouch for me. I even share similar gems on my Facebook page when I have time just like I do here and I've got the Baba at the top to thank for those supposedly lengthy letters and super-sized grammar skills you mentioned, you think it's by my own making? and from where I'm standing, it looks like you're just spreading hate, mad with envy..with a bad case of jealousy.

    You think everyone who comments here is trying to hustle for freebies, don't you? Well, newsflash, I'm not the first person you've accused, and I won't be the last...and let me tell you, your attempt to ruffle my feathers like you do the others are as effective as a warm bath. I've been accused of giveaway hustling before and I'm still standing, stubborn as a mule, which is probably what you're counting on. You can keep trying to ruffle my feathers, but I've got a steel stomach and I'm not flying away. You'll tire before I do.

    If the owner of the blog says It's a free for all party, then why not just take the liberty? Did I crawl into your pantry to ask for food before?

    Walahi ba? For the first time in my life I admire those fearless souls who can swallow their pride and apply for giveaways...it takes a special kind of boldness, or maybe a special kind of something. Walahi! it's no joke, that giveaway game is cutthroat. You need skin thicker than an iguana's to survive it. I am talking about the genuine giveaway applicants with the best of intentions...Not the leeches.

    Bring it on, because the only thing that's going to get exhausted around here is your clever comebacks.

    Next time don't be a coward...Use your ID instead of going the anonymous mode.
