Some people are hiding and can no longer go to work, Churches are no longer full on Sundays as they now target Diaspora Churches and parties....
I heard some Nigerians who returned home to Nigeria for Detty December have been blocked from returning to the US.....This is a wicked move!
Those of you who have spouses and family or friends in America, please check up on them and if possible advice them to sort out their stuff and move to another Country cos the chase and run will continue for as long as Trump is President.....

The people who are currently stuck in Nigeria, I dont know if they are American citizens but they cannot return to Bank accounts, cars, houses and properties...It is heartbreaking!

ReplyDeleteMajority of Nigerians in the US actually supported Trump when he was running for a second term. Even on this forum when I tried warning them I took a lot of flak for it. But this is not a time to gloat.
ReplyDeleteThe situation is dire. Families are being separated. Father's, mother's are being snatched away from kids never to be seen again. In the camps ICE keeps people before deportations, at least five of them have been murdered. The Trump administration has openly embraced Nazism and White supremacy. They are not even bothering to hide it anymore.
Right now, Stephen Miller, that evil Jewish self hating Nazi, is currently pushing that Trump embarks on a large scale deportation of even naturalized citizens. They believe citizenship can be revoked. They plan to cancel the 14th amendment.
I have a dear friend who is currently stuck here in Nigeria. A naturalized Nigerian-American who has been in the US since 1978. He can't go back because of a domestic violence charge from 12 years ago. Every effort he has made has met with a brick wall.
Nothing gives Trump joy more than hate and hurting people. I can't wait for the day he takes his last breath.
They supported him because majority of Nigerians are high earners and Trumps tax laws gives them loopholes to not pay taxes. Some other supported him out of wickedness. They want others to go through worse immigration issues than they did. Some other stupid ones supported him out of pure ignorance and misinformation.Whatever reason they supported him for, I hope they are getting what they voted for.

Ppl are ridiculous, they must have thought they were going to get some favoured treatment. The man said he wanted immigrants from Europe’s most prosperous countries, what does that tell you? He warned them, so if they didn’t take him serious and made preparations for a time like now then that is on them.

I just hope they were saving and had the sense to build a home and put something away in the land of their birth. No matter where you are, it’s where you are born that will always receive you when everywhere else has tossed you out. Never turn you back completely on where you were born!
Thank you. My family kept stressing this to people. At first, they gave us side-eye acted like Nigeria was a bad place and that no one could be trusted. But over time, we were able to change most of their minds.
DeleteWe also encouraged them to help their people as much as they could, because it actually reduces stress in the long run. Of course some people like to take advantage of other’s, but we learned how to avoid those situations diplomatically.

DeleteThey are exactly in this problem because of how difficult uscis makes immigrating legally, like you submit your documentation and it takes gazillion years to work on it and either accept or deny the application, so many out of status people just waiting for their applications to be attended to.
