Whatever you're doing in this 2026 to make money, I'll advise you take it so personal and serious, for there's something poverty does to one's psyche -- It robs you of your self worth and convictions.



Have you ever sent a message to someone and you noticed it was left unread for days even weeks? The truth is that they saw the message the very first time if not almost immediately it was sent, probably few minutes after. Now I will tell you the possible reasons it wasn't read and even if it was read why it wasn't replied.

First, you might have been a constant disturbance to them and as such, they believe anything or messages from you is soliciting for help. Most times they already read the message from the notification bar even without opening it. Mere greeting makes them afraid of what your intention might be.

Secondly, you're not valuable to them. There's nothing of value you're adding to them. In fact, your calls frighten them. No one wants to waste their time and resources on you. You're not rated. Same person who neglects your messages/calls, with the speed of light will open a message or pick the call of someone who's valuable to them at the mere sighting of their name. They probably believe it could be business related or something productive.

Few years ago I chatted a friend for another of our friend's contact whom I heard was doing very well at the time. Though I wasn't asking for the contact for monetarily assistance but for connection to link me up.

It wasn't the first time I had asked this person for people's contact we all grew up together with. His response that very day shocked me which I won't forget in a hurry. He asked me, ''Why is it that it's only when you need help you remember people, you start looking for their numbers? It's not good. Try and build up great friendship and be checking up on your guys at least if you ask for assistance, they will understand you were never far away from them.''

Some of you here might just be like that. You only look for people when you need help and after that, you bounce and only show up again when you need another help.

He later gave me the number which I sent a message that was never replied after reading till date. Probably they may have discussed me. Honestly, I won't say I felt bad, the message was clear to me and I learnt from it. I made myself that promise to do better for myself. There should be a last time to anything you've been doing wrong in life that has left a negative remark and impression on you by people.

 I repeat, there should be a last time to certain things you are used to that has devalued and demeaned you before others.

Sometimes we expose ourselves and give room to how we're being treated by others. Work hard and stay legit. Kill that urge to always beg when you're not handicapped. So that those who had conditioned their mindset towards you will one day be the ones seeking your attention.
