Pastor Adeboye Predicts Reduction In Hunger And Growth Of Small Businesses In 2026

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has released his prophecies for 2026, projecting economic relief for Nigeria and a possible reversal of the mass migration trend popularly known as “japa.”

Pastor Adeboye delivered the prophecies during the church’s annual crossover service held at Redemption City on New Year’s Eve, offering messages of hope for Nigeria and cautious optimism for the global community.

Speaking on the national outlook, the cleric disclosed the first part of a two-part prophecy, noting that he would pray further on the second part before deciding whether to release it later in the week.

According to him, 2026 would witness a noticeable reduction in hunger across the country, alongside renewed growth in small and medium-scale enterprises.
“This year, there will be a reduction in hunger. Small and medium enterprises will begin to blossom,” Adeboye declared.

In a prophecy that has since gained wide attention online, the RCCG leader also predicted a “reverse japa” trend, describing a situation where Nigerians who had migrated abroad would begin to return home.
“He says something that I can only describe as reverse japa. Many who japa will come back home,” he said.

On the global stage, Pastor Adeboye said 2026 would be relatively calmer than the previous year, particularly in terms of global conflict.

“On the international scene, he says the chance of a major war is less this year than last year,”

However, he cautioned that weather patterns would largely mirror those of 2025, with the possibility of a few major hurricanes occurring during the year.
Overall, the cleric described 2026 as a year of breakthroughs, predicting unprecedented success for individuals who remain steadfast in faith.

  1. Pastor Adeboye said God told him the year 2026 will be better and hardship will come to an end. Even those who japa will rush back to Nigeria. On the other hand, Fr Mbaka said, God told him the year 2026 will be tough and hardship will increase.

So this God is now speaking differently to each and everyone of them right? The truth is that, they didn't hear anything. They should go and sit down. The deception is too much. The RCCG has been the government tool of propagandas. I'm not surprised at whatever the GO said. It has been his modus operandi since time immemorial. All I will tell Nigerians is to gear up for possible and any eventuality. 2026 won't be rosy.

  11. Amen to the declarations. They are just as expected as ambassadors of the infinitely resourced Kingdom of a faithful living God.
The path of the righteous shines brighter to the fullness of day.

Bookmark this post. God will keep his own longer than next year. You'll realise that those who had no intention of having a blessed 2026 will end up with their usual lamentations by the end of the year, preparing for another failed year where their expectations of woe are not cut short. Even from day 2, they have released their negative confessions and pessimistic declarations that shall follow them as it has followed them every calendar year. They will declare in the positive a few minutes on Sunday and spend every other waking minute reversing same passionately. All they see and experience is the darkness and hopelessness they expect and desire as it confirms their trust in the carnal over the Christ who has taken captivity captive.

As for me and my house, the Lord will work his purpose in is as usual psalm 138:8 , with all the blessings in Christ being yes and amen. A lifting up it shall always be!!!
